I think after the decision made they have to request for passports am I correct .

You are correct. The only formality remaining before border entry is Passport Request.

The additional lines you got are relating to past. You may safely ignore it.

To be on safer side, it is advisable to contact visa office if you do not get Passport Request within 20-25 days of DM.

Hello every one,

I have received SLU on 24th April 2015. After that I have added my new born baby to my application on June 1st.

Its been three months now and I haven't received my MR. Somebody said it will take up to 3 months since i added my baby to the application. But now its more than 3 months and I am getting tensed..

While tracking its still shows IN PROCESS. My file has transfered to Warsaw.

Anybody pls advice me. What would be the possible reason for delay??

Have you raised CSE?

If not, do it. There is no harm in raising CSE.

One of our friends on this forum was waiting for PPR after DM. After some 10-15 days when he raised a CSE, vo informed that they had already sent him PPR before 10 days. Surprisingly, there was not email received from their side. VO issued a fresh PPR after that.

My Visa office is Warsaw Visa office, initially in my application I had selected New Delhi Visa Office but eventually it was transferred to Warsaw VO. Now that I have recieved the PPR request, they instructed me to send through VFS india or Nepal for further processing. But as I stay in Khobar, Saudi Arabia I cannot travel to India for PPR submission and I want to get my passsports stamped here in Saudi. I have replied to the same email saying I want to stamp the visas in KSA rather then India but still I haven't recieved any response from them. Keeping in mind the dead line of 30 days, what should I do?? Someone in of the thread told that we can go directly to any VFS weather KSA or India and submit the passports.

Hi Bluestone and seniors,

I need your help and suggestion on this, There was a change in my family composition with birth of a baby girl about which I have informed Warsaw also, They requested for few documents, which I submitted for my daughter, Based on my documentation they send medical instruction for my baby on 28th July, 2015. I got medical done on 1st Aug, 2015 and results were submitted on 3rd Aug, 2015.Now the question is that My MR request date was 09 May, 2015 and TLU got updated on 23 May, 2015. Should I consider my TLU from 23 May, 2015 or from the date on which my baby MR received By VO. should I calculate 90 days from my TLU updated or from 3rd Aug, 2015. Please advise and suggest. Iam still waiting for My DM/PPR. My timelines are below.


Application Received Date: 23 September 2014
Files transferred to Warsaw: 07 Jan, 2015.
MR Received for Me and my Wife: 09 May, 2015
TLU Updated: 23 May, 2015
MR for My New born baby: 28th July, 2015
Medical done for Baby: 1st Aug, 2015
Documents Uploaded for Baby: 3rd Aug, 2015.
DM: Still waiting.
NOC: 0112.

Dear pakardam,

As per CIC, it takes 3 months from TLU to get PPR/DM.

But this 3 months period will start after medical results of ALL the persons on file have been received. This is my personal view.

You will get through soon. VO is clearing files at a good speed.

Kindly drop an email to London visa office,, tell them that you are in UK and want's to get it stamped from there as you will not be able to travel to India during the pp submission deadline. Wait for there response and act accordingly. Raising CSE to WVO and NDVO is not going to be beneficial however raising CSE's to both this VO's will be in your correspondence record. Warsaw will reply you telling to "follow what's instructed in ppr mail" or "submit original passports to NDVO". If you are lucky you will get a response from NDVO but only after 10-12 days, many cases they don't even respond. In btw, I strongly advise you to visit nearby VFS/VAC (In UK) in person and get there response. You can find the links in the below mentioned web address link.

Your wife can directly submit her pp to any VFS office in India along with the PPR email, Two photo's (One Blank and other stamped and dated on the back). If you wish you could give her authorization/NOC letter allowing her to submit her pp. Its not mandatory, she can submit it directly not an issue.

Are you sure piecemeal submission of passports is allowed, and that too, with different visa office?

I think, he should call NDVO helpline to explain the situation. It is not allowed to send passport out of country. But if the passport is being sent to an Embassy or High Commission, it is allowed.

Secondly, a CSE should be raised with WVO because wvo is the authority having control over processing of file.

There are many applicants who lives in middle east and cannot travel to India for submission of Passports.

You may submit your passport to the visa office nearest to you. Processing Time may vary.

Did you contact visa office nearest to you? Contact them. I am sure they will allow.

I am worried about my File. My file was received by CIC on 12 Nov. 2014. i got update on 23 April that processing is started. But till i m not getting Medical request.... what to do......

Have you raised a CSE?

Its almost 10 months from the application received date. Normal time limit for completion of file is 12 months for ndvo files. Even if your file may be transferred to wvo, time limit applicable to your file is 12 months.

Which email id was given to vo? yours or your consultant's?

I have am sucked in a situation an trying to get some answer from CIC on this i hope you will be able to help me in this too.

I got my PPR today and given 30 days to submit my passport at VFS new delhi, I am currently in USA and cannot go back before Oct 20th(i Cannot stay in India for more than 1 month due to my work in USA) and it will not be possible for me to submit my passport at NDVF. Is there any way that i can submit my passport here in USA and what is the process and time it will take.

It is a very common issue, at least in this forum.

You may submit your passport to nearest Visa Office.

Just raise CSE to wvo and send email to your nearest visa office.

Not sure about processing time. It may be more or less.

There are instance where PPR was received after 20 days of DM. So, wait for 3-4 days. It should come.

If it does not, then raise CSE as well as write an email to vo. Mail id is the one from which you received your MR.
