Please find below the status of 9th May 2015 MR request date, still I see 27 people in the pipeline waiting for DM/PPR am I right in assuming that or the sheet is not yet updated. Please update the sheet so that we have more clarity. Thanks. Iam also a 9th May MR recipient still waiting for DM/PPR and wait is killing now.....!

Hi CanFsw,

Not really !! Several people who had multiple PCCs got their DM/PPR. In your case, since you got DM means you have positive news. Start packing your bags and book your flight tickets

In my case, I have 3 PCCs and change in passport. I submitted them on 29-Jun, still no clue. Can anyone suggest me what to do at this stage ?

Hi Seniors,

Can someone tell me how many with similar timelines as mine are still awaiting DM/PPR or am I the only one waiting for the DM/PPR...

I submitted the hard copies for the change in passports alongwith the PCC and RPRF receipts on 29-Jun. When can I raise a CSE or send them an email ? Are both raising a CSE and sending an email required or should I do only one thing i.e, either send an email or raise a CSE.

Any help would be highly appreciated !!

Hi everyone, I am bit confused regarding my ECAS update today

1. We received your application for permanent residence on December 29, 2014.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 21, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on July 13, 2015.
4. We transferred your application to the Warsaw office on March 29, 2015. The Warsaw office may contact you.
5. We sent you medical instructions on July 14, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us

My time line is as below:
App filed: 29/12/14
AOR: 21/5/15
MR: 14/7/15
Medical submitted: 13/8/15

I also got a similar status change in ECAS yesterday. I had taken upfront Canada medicals in March for my spouse sponsored PR application and since it has 1 year validity used it for FSW as well. My FSW MR was on May 14 and the documents (medicals, RPRF and PCC) reached Warsaw through courier on May 19.
Planning to sent an email explaining all this. Hopefully everything turns out good.

URGENT AND IMPORTANT

Hello everyone,

Finally 10 months long wait is over and I have received my PPR email on 4th Sept.

I am now in a different situation and seeking some valuable suggestions from some more experienced people on the forum.

My visa office was NDVO as per my application. However all the processing has happened through Warsaw Visa office. Now, due to official work I have temporarily moved to UK and my wife is in India. I need to get the stamping done within next 30 days and I do not have the option of going to India and getting it done.

Please provide suggestions as to what should be done and how can I get the stamping in such a situation when both of us are at different location and timeline given to me is 30 days.

If anyone of you or anyone who you may know has under gone similar situation, and can share your thoughts and suggestions it would be extremely helpful and appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance!

Congratulations Buddy, I am also in same boat and seek some information on submitting passport in NDVO within 30 days, i am in USA and looking for the ways to get my passport stamped. Pls keep me posted if you find anything on this.

you have to wait for an email sent to u by cic maybe it is a PPR.. in my case i got PPR first (august 17,2015) then In process ecas status changed to DM just yesterday september 5,2015. It is possible also to have DM status on ecas together with a corespondence letter containing PPR

How is AirFrance and do we need to transit visa for the stay in Paris?
which is the better option to book the tickets, through a ticket agent, airline office or online?

Congratulations for the successful completion of you application.

1) You may buy any tickets that you find cheaper. Its a matter of 25-30 hours. The Only important thing is that it flies and lands you safely in Canada.

2) My ticket is Ahmedabad->Mumbai->Paris->Toronto. From Mumbai onward, its Air France. You do not need to have transit visa because you are holding a valid PR visa of Canada. Please see following link:

3) Ticket prices vary wildly across booking agents. It is wise to contact 3-4 agents and also look for tickets by yourself online.

I visited skyscanner, yatra and makemytrip. Finally bought tickets from Yatra. Cost me Rs.34800 per person. 30 hours total time.

I doubt airline office will be able to provide competitive prices because they are not allowed to sell tickets below a certain price.

Today I have got a very strange update in ECAS

After decision made on 1sep I clicked on the status of decision made today and I got the the 7 th line which is

They have sent me a corespondent today 5/9 and I have to provide the required .

As Iam aware that after decision made should recive a request for passports ?


Any one got the same update on ECAS .

Also please advise what kind of new request that they can request after decision made

This trend has been noticed recently. But these lines belong to past.

You do not need to worry at all. If its decision made, you will get PPR without any doubt. Its a matter of some days.

They are talking about MR mail, I guess. 9th May (5/9)

Letter or Communication means Email only, as CIC does not send physical letters now.
