Totally Agree with you HMO...!!

It is not sensible idea to add spouse after getting visa. The whole case will be in jeopardy. There are some points to be considered.

1) Adding partner will catch vo's attention about authenticity and intention of the marriage.

2) As per my opinion, two people should take at least 6 months to know each other before deciding upon marriage. 2 months are way too less. Who knows that a man/woman wants to marry you just because you are a "easy pass" to Canada?

3) Getting a job in the initial phase it very difficult as you know. Having extra person depending upon you will make your life bit more difficult.

My timelines are on the left... Can someone tell me when can I expect the DM/PPR.

I had changed my passport and submitted it alongwith the PCC, RPRF hard copy submission... Any suggestions ??? Do I need to raise a CSE asking them the status on my case ???

TLU: 4th Aug , 2015

Along with MR Mail , VO had asked for copies of passport with minimum 6 months validity.My daughter's passport is expiring in April 2016.(8 months from today - minimum 6 months validity of her passport would be mid Oct.)

1) Should we renew her passport now and update VO or should we wait for Visa Stamping & COPR.
2) For all those who have got their Visa stamped , what is the validity of Visa : 1 year from medical/TLU or till expiry date on your passport.

Hi, I have read somewhere in this thread that sometimes, it takes a bit longer for the security checks to be completed. That might be the reason for this delay. From how many countries did you have Police clearance certificates? Or you could raise CSE and know why it is taking this long. But, I believe you will get DM/PPR within a couple of weeks, as it is about time in your case, comparatively.

Yes....you need to renew your daughter's passport as you need to have at least 6 months validity at the time you leave India. Otherwise, from my understanding, the Indian authorities will not allow to leave the country...
