Hi Harry, There could be one more reason for the points being deducted and that is the age, right ? What happens to the points if there is a processing delay of more than 1 year and if you cross the age of 40 years ? Will the points start being deducted ?

The last CSE that I raised with them was on 10-Sep-15 and they replied that "the processing of your application is pending background check completion. You will be contacted as soon as we are ready to communicate further requirements or final decision" Any clue what it means ??

So basically, the rule for file processing within 11 months is also ruled out. There is no hard and fast rule that they have to clear the files within 11 months. Please correct me if my analysis is wrong.
