You are correct Vicky. They should have asked for scanned copies with MR. Also,we have submitted photo copies of all pages of the passport when the file was first sent to CIC, Canada. I don't understand why these are called for again. Even I do not have any foreign PCC though have traveled out of country on pleasure trips quite number of times. It is really frustrating now and further one cannot plan things.

Do you think it may be possible that VO is still doing job verifications etc on our files? Though I feel the chances are slim as major verification are done before issuing medicals.

Honestly bro...no Employment verification happened in my case .... still I got TLU , I am not expecting employment verification at this point but you never know they have habit of proving us wrong every time

It's been now 136 days since MR, 114 days from TLU and 91 days since the hardcopies of my requested docs reached WVO and still no DM/PPR updates ... really wiered

The last CSE that I raised with them was on 10-Sep-15 and they replied that "the processing of your application is pending background check completion. You will be contacted as soon as we are ready to communicate further requirements or final decision"

Any clue what it means ??

This is a generic reply. However, this means that security checks are not yet complete. No one knows how much time it will take more to complete the same.
In my view, you should get PPR within max next 10 days. Because I have seldom seen anyone crossing 120 days from TLU.
