What is the best way to search jobs in Canada? is it good idea to find a job here in India then move to Canada..!

Would be good if you can find it from India. But as per my experience from colleagues, Most of Canadian Companies do not offer you until you land in Canada.

Hey Guys,

Good morning to everyone and congratulation to all the new DM and PPR status updates.. Happy to see progress for at least some individuals :-)

I have another predicament that I would like to bother you guys with.. My and my spouse's medicals were completed on 30th July and till now there is no "Medical received" status.. So basically two weeks have surpassed now. Has anyone out there faced a similar situation? For most cases I have see it takes not more than 10 -12 days for the Third line update. While I am not sure what I can do here, but if there is anyone who is facing the same situation or have faced it earlier it would be good to know. I have already called the hospital twice and they said nothing is pending from their end. They had asked for second urine sample for my spouse on the day of the medical which we had given. Furthermore the hospital administration had also confirmed that in case any further tests are required we would be duly contacted by their staff. Now, neither the hospital, nor CIC has contacted us for further tests as well..

Should i be worried here? Any ideas, suggestions, affirmations are welcome :-)

Many many congratulations :-)

I got my TLU 20 days after my medicals. So you could wait for some more time.

Thank you jj for the quick reply.
Did they ask for any retest in your case ?

No, we were not asked for retest. However I had called my hospital after a week or so and confirmed when they sent our reports.

Guys one query to them who got there visa stamped already
How much time does New Delhi take in total to send back our passports...
with visa stamped do they send us anything else like a document or something :o ....

Ok thanks. Yes even I am trying to do the same.. But sometimes its so tough to get that information.. I suspect the hospital might have delayed uploading the e-medicals in my case.. I am trying to ask for a definitive date from them, however they are dilly dallying..

DONT WAIT!! I had the same problem. When i got to the root of this...i got to know that there is some defect in the uploading of my files at the Hospital. They misplaced my X Rays or something.

I followed up with the hospital like hell...and finally...i got the reports got uploaded by them. 3 Days later, it reflected in my ECAS.
Some ignorant chaps will pay the price for the misdeeds of these morons. Its always better to follow up and get the date of upload of the Medicals to CIC.
