Exactly. Also, I highly doubt that for criminal verifications, they actually contact police depts of each country you have been to. They have put the onus to obtain PCC on us precisely for this reason.

To back my point, just imagine if they have to conduct criminality check on Indians. What would they do?
Unlike western countries, India does not have a single point of contact for police dept. Who do they contact.
And even if they do contact some polict dept, do you think Indian police is going to respond to them...lol.

The level of scrutiny definitely varies from country to country. As I said, mid east and Arab countries are definitely scrutinized more...

Once again, it is a pretty opaque system, and rightly so, as it is easier to find loopholes and workarounds with transparent systems. But I am sure CIC would not delay files just for the sake of it.

but indian applicants who gets ppr in few days after tlu ,,,what u have to say about them dear ???and ihave a travel history to canada less than 6 months and i have seen ppl with travel history getting ppr soon so its just some delay with 7th and 9th batch bro only ,,may b they all have not started with security check!! Lets pray and pray only

Sorry. I meant the Visa Office.
Problem is getting delayed response & in some cases no reply at all. ( example : user Kurian8)
He had sent a lot of e-mails. But didn't get any esponse.
It will be a risk to submit the passport without any confirmation from VO.

Most likely I'll travel to New Delhi.

Contact Warsaw VISA Office directly. Check with Abu Dhabi VO as well.

Guys, one problem here.

I submitted my passports and photos to NDVO through VFS. Unfortunately i forgot to mention the photo taken date on one of the photos. Realizing the mistake, I sent a CSE about a week ago, didn't get a reply. Yesterday I sent an email to Delhi-immigration making a VERY URGENT tag with the mistake mentioned and provided the missing details.

Will it cause any delays on my passport being stamped? Really confused. :'(

Hi Guys!!! What I feel is after paying RPRF and clearance of Medicals, there are NIL chances of rejections. Once we have cleared the Medicals, we are 100% about to be WELCOMED to CANADA. Don't know but this wait is slowly killing me and I am really tensed now :-X :-X :-X

So If PSK doesnt issue the PCC with madien name then you said that I should talk to Police Commissioner. The question is which city? The current city where I am living for past 13 years knows me by name after marriage, so should I go to the city where I grew up and ask them to issue a PCC? if yes then what should the letter say? Current address? Previous address? I am loosing my mind here and panicing at the same time

Not to worry at all. I also thought it was impossible to get it. But eventually got it done.

They by default will not provide. So and you can show the letter from warsaw for the ask. You will have to provide proof of your maiden name, and request the commissioner to (re)word his PCC to include along with current name, "formerly called..." or maiden name as .....". I would suggest post the request online to commissioner's office where you are currently staying, and take a printout of that and walk into the office for resolution. n,They will do a normal police verification, but add the maiden name, based on your 10th school records & birth certificate information. I had added the marriage invitation card along with the marriage certificate for the changed name to support the situation.

I got it done after three four visits to commissioner's office in Bangalore as I reside currently here. PSK was not providing this as their format they see is frozen.
