To back my point, just imagine if they have to conduct criminality check on Indians. What would they do?
Unlike western countries, India does not have a single point of contact for police dept. Who do they contact.
And even if they do contact some polict dept, do you think Indian police is going to respond to them...lol.
The level of scrutiny definitely varies from country to country. As I said, mid east and Arab countries are definitely scrutinized more...
Once again, it is a pretty opaque system, and rightly so, as it is easier to find loopholes and workarounds with transparent systems. But I am sure CIC would not delay files just for the sake of it.
