Thank you for sharing your details.

I asked this question as one of our friend in this forum only..KAM123 has been asked to produce PCC from US...but one thing I have noticed is that he is yet to get a medical request. However in my case...my medical request came on May 9...med done May 14th. TLU updated 26th May....

So please advise should I still go ahead and initiate USPCC request..?

TLU updated by Ottawa

Why Ottawa ? When ur case is with Warsaw.

About PCC ,if you have got TLU ,they will not gonna ask you for PCC now ,if they wanted would have asked you before updating Third Line .
But if you jut have received Medicals and yet to receive Third Line Update ,they might ask ,totally depends on Visa Officer .
My experience as below :

Applied :4th December from India
Came to Malaysia to work on 16TH December
Got Medical Request on 24th May also RPRF and Original PCC from India on 24th May .I replied back to the mail as well as raised CSE on 27th May mentioning that I left my job in India on 2nd December and came to Malaysia and send them required documents like (relieving previous company, offer new company etc). I got a reply back from my Visa Officer mentioning Malaysia PCC is also required .

On top of that I replied back with 2 mails to him mentioning that I am just in Malaysia for 5 months and Malaysia Govt provide PCC only to people who stayed for 1 year with screenshots from Malaysian Indian Embassy and Malaysian Ministry of affairs website .

Next day I got a reply back quoting ,"Ok.have chked ,Malaysia PC not required" from the Visa officer.

But as mentioned all depends on Visa officer and yours is US so they don't even have any 1 year rule I guess ,If you have time you can try getting it.

Wish you Speedy Process :)

Its Ottawa because Medical Results reach Ottawa not to your Visa Office

Who ever said its Ottawa, thats incorrect.

The medicals are forwarded to Regional medical office (RBO) for review. They are then forwarded to Ottawa, which then reviews and seconds that opinion.

This is then forwarded to the concerned VO for processing.

Kindly note

1. Every region has its own RBO

2. RBO only acts as a consultant. The final decision is taken by the VO.

Retest may be required where the opinion is given.

In case of negative feedback. The VO may do the following:

a. Reject the case

b. Issue a conditional landing where the applicant is required to register with a Canadian medical practitioner who will monitor his/ her medical progress.

Friends , I need advice ...

I was blessed with the baby after FLU . I sent the baby addition document( as requested by Warsaw VO) and got the SLU on 29th April = In process . But the 150 CAD DD i sent with the Documents of baby addition is still not charged . Its more than three months and I think DD is expired as every DD is only valid for 3 months . Please advice what to do here .

You should've used a credit card instead bro. Anyways, just email the VO about this and they will definitely accept another DD or a credit card now.

About TLU ,My brother told me the other way ,he says VO checks medical and send it to Ottawa and they recheck because the final authority for Medical always lies with Ottawa ,If they find OK ,they update TLU .

But since I have just heard of it and never done any research ,You may be right ,anyway it hardly matters who checks as far as our Results are fine and we are getting TLU :)

You are right, final decision is taken by visa office.
