Hello Friends,

Regarding US PCC from FBI, I have a suggestion for all who are anticipating their medical request. At this time, I would request you to start with the US PCC procedure if you have stayed in US for more than 6 months. Few important points:

• One has to request for Identity History Summary Report. Before requesting one has to arrange for finger prints from a local police station and send it along with the application form(download it from FBI site). I did finger print procedure from a local police station in US.
• FBI will pick your file only after around 9 weeks of receipt of one's request for PCC. They are working on their backlogs. As of monday, 6th July 2015 they were working on requests received on 22nd April.
• Their customer contact number is: +1-(304)-625-5590. Once your request has reached FBI office you can all them and ask for status quoting your request receipt date. But do check with them on what date are they currently working. This helps!

I received my medical request on 09 May and I send the request to FBI on 12th May. As mentioned, few days back they we were working on 22nd April file.

hi all I have a issue any one please help me .I got the pcc request on 12 may 2015 ,I apllied for that but still I did not reaceive.i sent all documents to cic with covering letter saying that I will send the pending document when I got that .but after my deadline one more month is finished still I am waiting for pcc from Afghanistan.i don't know how long it will takes .please any one guide me how cic will react .

About PCC ,if you have got TLU ,they will not gonna ask you for PCC now ,if they wanted would have asked you before updating Third Line .
But if you jut have received Medicals and yet to receive Third Line Update ,they might ask ,totally depends on Visa Officer .
My experience as below :

Applied :4th December from India
Came to Malaysia to work on 16TH December
Got Medical Request on 24th May also RPRF and Original PCC from India on 24th May .I replied back to the mail as well as raised CSE on 27th May mentioning that I left my job in India on 2nd December and came to Malaysia and send them required documents like (relieving previous company,offer new company etc). I got a reply back from my Visa Officer mentioning Malaysia PCC is also required .

On top of that I replied back with 2 mails to him mentioning that I am just in Malaysia for 5 months and Malaysia Govt provide PCC only to people who stayed for 1 year with screenshots from Malaysian Indian Embassy and Malaysian Ministry of affairs website .

Next day I got a reply back quoting ,"Ok.have chked ,Malaysia PC not required" from the Visa officer.

But as mentioned all depends on Visa officer and yours is US so they don't even have any 1 year rule I guess ,If you have time you can try getting it.

I asked this question as one of our friend in this forum only..KAM123 has been asked to produce PCC from US...but one thing I have noticed is that he is yet to get a medical request. However in my case...my medical request came on May 9...med done May 14th. TLU updated 26th May....

So please advise should I still go ahead and initiate USPCC request..?

Among all the May TLU's, how many of you have paid RPRF through a DD??

I am one and I am worried that the DD is not encashed still!

I strongly feel that DD is the reason for the delay as most of the MAY TLU applicants have paid by CC as most of them have got PPR and few even landed and few got visa stamped.

waiting is so horrible, im getting into depression now, its been a long time still waiting for PPR, many of my friends flew to canada last month, im still waiting for PPR, why they are lazy i dont understand
