Guys.. one more interesting fact about PCC... even though I had submitted PCC from Passport office they have accpeted and sent DM/PPR. So "26th May Rule about PCC" is not applicable to FSW 2014 applicants .

I have a feeling that they have considered your PCC and it solely was dependent on your case processing agent. The rule about 26 May will still apply to those submitting afterwards. I myself had send them MY PCC that was issued on October 10, 2014 and it was clearly written that my PCC was valid for only 6 months from the date of issue and My SLU was updated on April 15, 2015 which means my PCC had expired by just 6 days and My Case Processing Agent simply considered and accepted it and in my Medicals and RPRF email i was not asked to submit a new PCC. :)

Police certificate is valid for 1 year not 6 months... Below is the guidelines from google guys.. :P

Indian citizens residing in India: Indian citizens residing in India for six months or more since turning 16 years of age must present Indian police clearance certificates from the local area passport office. This certificate is valid for one year from the date of issuance
I am still worried.. I got my PCC from local police station not passport office. Will they reject my application? Ask for a new PCC? Will this one work?

Even my PCC was from the local police station but my representative didn't raised any question so I guess its fine and it does not matter. But still need an expert advice.

When you ask PSK or Police stations, they say PCC expires after 6 months. But I believe since other countries' PCC expire is after 1 year, CIC might be thinking the same

They never acknowledge whether they have received your documents or not... If something is missing or they require additional documents they will send email to you for action...

They email you a payment receipt in case the rprf is paid via sending a DD.
