New generic form( imm 008) to be filled up AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR MEMEBERS PLUS NEW ONE
new BACK GROUND FORM FOR DEPENDENTS for the child
NEW TRAVEL FORM FOR DEPENDENTS for the child

I have already sent all those documents to NDVO on 2nd Feb 2015, but on 24th Feb 2015 my file got moved to WVO. Now I am not sure if NDVO will move my Kids documents to WVO or I have to sent them afresh to WVO.

Dear Forum members,

Need your help for a query regarding AoR.

Before that here is my status -
NOC - 0111
Application Date - 8th Dec 2014
DD Charge - 29th Jan 2015
PER - 24th Feb 2015
AOR - Not Sure whether its 9th April 2015 (hence query below)

I got an email (title of email was "Information about [My file number starting with EXXXXXXXXX]" on 9th April 2015 from Warsaw VO (Embassy of Canada,Visa Section,,ul. Piekna 2/8,00-481 Warsaw,Poland) from an email id (Client-update-mise-a-jour @ cic.gc.ca) as under

"This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2014/12/08"

Is this the same as an AOR ? Reason i am confused is the date of receipt in email above is (8th Dec 2014) which is the same date of my application receipt date per the the CIC Intake Office (at that time i had not received any such email) and not the file transfer date to Warsaw. When i checked with CIC help desk, they said the file has been transferred to WVO.

Please help me in interpretation of this email.

Are you getting Second Line updates through email?

No 2nd line is a status updated on ECAS. which you check online.

I have one query regarding MR receipt from 2nd line update.. I have read so many places that background check etc gets initiated once we get 2nd line update. So if MR comes does it mean background check is completed,or it would still keep running. In case during MR process also it is running.. then it must be based on some green signal they would be issuing the MR. isnt it .? Pls help clarify anyone! Thanks

When I check online, my status is showing as "In Process". Does this mean SLU?
