No 2nd line is a status updated on ECAS. which you check online.

I have one query regarding MR receipt from 2nd line update.. I have read so many places that background check etc gets initiated once we get 2nd line update. So if MR comes does it mean background check is completed,or it would still keep running. In case during MR process also it is running.. then it must be based on some green signal they would be issuing the MR. isnt it .? Pls help clarify anyone! Thanks

You get SL when your file is opened by Visa officer in system. And background check and security clearance is parallel process. MR doesn't mean you clear the background process. It could be completed or in process. And there is nothing such as green signal, Medical is just one of the criteria no specific inputs required from other processes to " ask you to go for a medical test".

When I check online, my status is showing as "In Process". Does this mean SLU?

click on that in process. Then you will see numbered lines. How many lines are there ?

Only 1 line saying that we received your application on a particular date. I dont have 2 line so it means no SLU.

MR request: 23 Feb 2015
Decision Made: 01 April 2015
PPR: not yet

I am in panic as I haven't received PPR, its almost 20 days. Raised a CSC to Warsaw - no answer yet. Could you please kindly advise, what this delay of PPR means?

Hi,

I received email from NDVO that my file has been transferred to Warsaw VO. I have newborn child which I informed them to for add in my application. Yesterday they requested following documents:

-- a certified copy of your child's birth certificate along with its translation into English or French by a sworn translator;
-- 4 recent photos
-- Specify height and eye colour for your new born child;
-- pay the processing fee for you newborn child in the amount of $150CDN
-- copies of all pages of the child's passport
-- add your baby to the Application for Permanent Residence in Canada and you and your spouse should update the IMM5406 Additional Family Information form.

I am unable to understand how should I pay fees. Can i pay online? if yes, then how?
Where should i send these docuements NDVO or WVO?

I have received AOR from WVO. I have sent my newborn kid's documents to add him into my application on 2nd Feb 2015 to NDVO, but on 24th Feb 2015 my file was transferred to WVO. So, first i raised CSE with WVO to check if they have received my kids documents from NDVO or not. WVO replied back saying that they have not received them. So, now I raised CSE with NDVO to check if they will forward my kid's documents to WVO or i have to send them afresh to WVO.

"I really dont know the reason" is best answer for your question

But each visa officer and each file is unique so its really difficult to assume something.
There are lots of combination when a visa officer looks at your file & above that each has personal pattern of working as well. So you can guess the rest
