Yea, but we send our passports to VFS, right? Kasi that's where I sent my passport as requestrd by the MVO.

In my case, I had 2 options. Send my passports directly to the Embassy in RCBC tower or send it thru VFS. I sent it the cheapest way. I don't see the need to have my passports sent to third party when I can do it myself.

Si po taga Abu Dhabi dito na may Abu Dhabi driving license. Tanong ko lang po sana saan pwede maka kuha letter application for Canadian driver's license.

You don't need to do them all at once, pero mukhang in a hurry ang CEM so kung puwede magpa-medical na kayo agad.

Hi mga kaforum,

Got a call from CEM today, confirming if I received their email yesterday. Anyway, I already read the email just today and CEM is requesting for MR, payment of RPRF and our passports. They are in a hurry for us to undergo our medicals. The problem is, I have my period (2nd day), and as per St. Luke's Global, dapat daw ay 1 week after the last day of period. Also I am confused, just like you guys, my application is under FSW, but the category they quoted in their letter is Provincial Nominee category. Is this correct? Ganito rin ba nareceived nyong category sa letter nyo from CEM?

Please enlighten me. Would appreciate advice. Thanks in advance.

Passport Request npo kmi. We were called by CEM then told us that they already sent email hours after our ECAS got 7LU of medical reports received. Thank GOd, malapit na graduation. Hoping to land in Canada on March 10, 2016.

Guys pwede patulong sa mga nakakaalam. Additional requirement kasi saken is to obtain FBI clearance. Kaya lng sa form ng FBI dapat may social security number saka it's either US citizen ka or Permanent resident. I visited US dati for 3x as tourist lang. Hindi ko alam kung paano kumuha ng FBI clearance.

Hi! Just put N/A sa ss# ... Avail of ur clear fingerprints and send them together with the form from d fbi website. Try ask from NBI if they can take ur finger prints. try to read the FAQs from the fbi website.

Been very busy these past days since VOH Nov 5.

important:cem checks POF before send PP

Like to share with those n waiting for VOH, don't again don't closed or withdraw your POF. Keep it intact until you receive your visa.

cem called my bank to check POF, stamped on PP is Oct 26, ecas dm oct 27 yet cem still called my bank last Oct 30 and voh Nov 5.

Good thing that we have more than what cem is requiring and it was intact for the last 3years. I'm very close with my bank so they called me up agad, I just forgot to share this as I was busy since VOH.

So guys I hope this helps.

I have been banking with them for 15years, they know me well and visit them often as its part of my work. My POF account was an old account mga 3years na so it was not open because of the application sa cem kya wala naman kming worry.

Normal procedure lng naman yon tumawag sa bank ang mga companies (in this case embassy) and if matagal ng nag banking ang client na ikukuwento yan ng bank sa client bec.banking relationship have been forge for long time.

But of course, if new lng or seldom lng nkita ng bank ang depositor I also agree with you na Hindi na nya inform. But in my case, I have built good rapport with my bank through the years.

In my observation POF mahigpit si cem, ksi tlga dapat sa tin ang money and dapat dalhin natin cause life will be difficult there, Canada doesn't give support unlike sa Australia. In fact suggest ng ibang mga mauna (read it some mga blogs)/na to bring more than the actual req.

With that, I hope everyone will be forwarn to be honest with their POF even at the later stage and follow natin ai cem.

Not sure bat ka hinanapan.. Need lang kasi yan if you stayed there for more than 6 months. Anyway, yung ginawa ko is punta lang ako sa FBI main office dala print out nung embassy request. Pakita mo lang yan dun sa 3rd flr.. meron na sila form dun. LIBRE. Walang bayad ang fingerprinting basta ibigay mo lang yung printed request. Once tapos na fingerprint mo.. pirmahan mo lang yun at sasabihan ka to pick it up at DFA after a week for red ribbon certification. Once nakuha mo na yun, follow mo na instruction pano mag request ng FBI clearance. Kaso last time we checked it can take 4 months to get your clearance. -- I've done this process twice. Not sure if may nag change.

What kind of a bank are you banking with, they give out your personal information to just about anyone like that? There are certain ethics of a bank, the privacy act, even my parents do not get my account balance from my bank, they require a power of attorney to get that information, and your bank gave your account balance to someone OVER THE PHONE, just because they said they are from Canadian Embassy Manila? LOL, please change your bank, this is beyond ridiculous
