CIIP is free but as far as I know is not required. It is funded by CIC. Wala palagi schedule. PDOS seminar on the other hand is required for pinoys to register before leaving the country and there is a fee. Ironic nito is kahit yung tao ilang taon na dun sa Canada and then bumalik lang sa pinas para kunin ang pamilya, need pa rin mag PDOS. :o

I think way ng govt to account how many pinoys go abroad and which country. But, sympre income generating na rin. :)

May alam po ba kayong lending company? Kahit with collateral? Nagkaprob kasi POF namin e :(

Mukhang madami naman available na jobs here sinwerte lang din kme kc from sg kme tapos nilipat na lang husband ko sa us branch nila so work from home sya canada base pero us employee. very important dito ung credit rating kaso tau g immigrants wala pa nun so lahat mahirap. Right niw nakikitira kami sa north york moving tom sa apartment. Pagdating need muna get ng sin number even kids need their own sin number then open a bank account nag open kami sa td bank mejo mas maganda kc ang presence nya here dineposit namin ung cash namin keep ka lang ng enough oang gastos tapos apply na ng credit card need mo lang ipakita sa bank is sin number and your copr tapos dadating pa ata ang cc after 3 weeks so most ng gastos will be in cash. Then apply ng sim card need ng credit card pag kukuha sim card so we used muna ung sg card namin tapos copr and passport.

Thank you for your post. You mentioned that your husband is working from home in Canada for a US-based company. So, pwede pala yun? How does it work? I was going to ask the same thing for my case kasi of it's possible kasi I'm working for a US company here in Cebu. Thank you in advance.

Hi Wiggles,

Tanong ko lang about certificate from lto, how long kaya pwede nila tanggapin ang lto certificate (like yong certificate mo is 6 months old, ok lang kaya yon?)?

So nitong october since hindi pa natapos yung mga need nila sa singapore pa din pumasok ang salary nya then they mentioned na they will just cover yung exchange rate na difference sa pagtransfer ng money from sg to canada. Daoat no issue yun if willing ang company mo to sponsor you kasi meron nman daw tax treaty ang us and canada.

Try to raise CS Inquiry, there was this one forum member na ganyan din then he rec a call from cem that the medical result of his son was not transmitted. So he had to do extra legwork of going to the Hosp/clinic where they had medical (he was in Malaysia or singapore , Indian national sya and na transfer sa cem yon app nila)

So better ask nalng cem just to be sure.

Thanks for the reply.
Actually we have our 6LU already which is medical results received na. Kaso until now wala pa ring PPR. Almost 2 months na since we have our meds done..
