thanks sis QueenAngel you're the sweetest. actually, i did send an email already sa CEM (MANILIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca) regarding the status of my application. actually sept 29 applicant ako and then PER was jan 09, 2015.. pasok p b sha sa normal processing times? mejo nffrustrate n nga ako eh.. but still hoping padin..

sana before july ends may MR na..

Hi jewel_ricci,

What did CEM say from your email?

Yes, you are still within the timelines. If MVO doesn't reply, it means you are still within the timelines. You can also send CSE, just be nice & the tone is not just soliciting compassion but also understanding you in being "uzi & kulit" for inquiring for the status of your application.

When I 1st logged in the forum, I came to know that everybody was getting updates and I was left behind. It was here that I came to know about CSE, GMCS, MVO email, call CIC for the status. I think I sent 3 CSE's, 1 GMCS and pressured, insisted & pestered our consultant to request & inquire about our status, in our behalf. The day consultant sent the email to MVO, was when MVO replied that appln was under process. That same day, I saw slu in ecas.

Since nothing yet was happening after the slu, I asked someone from Canada to raise GMCS. I sent 2 CSE's and we received PCC & RFPF. It took more than a month with a follow up to finally got the reply. We already received the MR when GMCS came. We sent an email to MVO to update them of the MResults sent on certain dates. Waiting for PPR was a bit long so I sent another CSE informing them our intention of enrolling son in Canada for the opening of 2015-16 schoolyear.

Though GMCS came late, I find it so informative and I found out if we are really qualified for admission, as per their analysis. There was no mention of their decision there but you can see your strong points and if you have weak points, as an area for more docs & interview required, in their point of view.

I hope you can see here how the VO's are. It's true that number of inquiries make them work slower but it helps you in such a way that the VOfficers give you their attention and priority, considering your timelines. I believe that you ask them for heads up and a sign that you are an applicant who is eager for the update. I was done with being a passive applicant. It's about time to use another strategy.

I hope I have given you & the others an idea from my experience.

hi sis. actually i haven't received any reply from them yet. the only reply i got was there computer-generated mail stating the confirmation that they received my email and that if I wont be able to get a response from them, it means that my question is available on their website.. something like that. i have also sent 1 CSE and 1 email to them but still no reply.

actually, i have an agency.. which is CIC megamall and i have been consistently getting in touch with my consultant regarding my application which i feel nakukulitan na sila sakin but its okay (that's what i paid them for, lol.).. anyways, they told me to still wait and they will give me an update as soon as they receive a mail from CEM.

anyways, what is GCMS btw? well.. i think i really should be patient a bit more.. but it seems that i haven't heard any updates yet with my co-NOC 3142 here in the forum as well as in the FB group which makes me even wonder what is really going on with the VO handling our applications. i know we should be positive but i bet every FSW applicant came to their own limits during this waiting game. i mean, i just want to be vocal how hard it is for me especially the pressure im getting from the people around me. but really, i thank the people like you who give continuous hopes especially to those waiting just like me.

anyways, thanks for listening to my sentiments. the thing is, even after i surpass this visa application it would still be a long run for a physiotherapist like me trained in the Philippines to be able to work in Canada which i will worry and ponder on in the future. haha.

oh well, talagang walang madali sa buhay. hahahaha thanks again sis @QueenAngel.

Hi zyber12, yeah very understandable because I heard marami din daw bakanteng renting place sa mga provinces because people are leaving... Merrill Lynch and Nomura banks just declared recession in Canada right now. It will probably last 6 months to 1.5 years and it will be tougher towards the end of this year when Canadian dollar is expected to dive more vs. US dollar. The sad thing is, it seems the rest of the world will follow recession by late this year or early next year, it just happened that Canada was first hit because it is an oil industry country. All the best to you! It will be better soon!

Hi Jewel_Ricci,

Yes, September applicant too. Same timeline Tayo so it'll help to update each other =)

Thanks!

hello again jewel_ricci, it's been awhile. Same noc 3142 tayo. Let's just wait, pray harder and have more patience this times. GOD IS IN CONTROL AND HE WILL GIVE US OUR HEART'S DESIRE IN TIME. As I have checked processing times is approximately 14-16 months... We are still on the track. Kapit lang.
