hi iankay07. in my opinion, i think u need to provide specifically kung ano ung hinihingi nila, so if they requested for an NBI with mispelled middle name, then that you have to provide them, specially na reflected sa BC mo ang incorrect na middle name. cgro parang similar lng dun sa mga wife na hinihingan ng another NBI with their maiden name instead of their husband's last name. or better yet kng di ka pa nkasubmit ng NBI sa initial application, kuha ka nalang ng dalawang NBI clearance, isang tama at isang maling middle name. hope this helps.

Salamat vlan 2015. For my NBI clearance, I think I know what to do now. I will just submit a new NBI clearance with my correct MIDDLE NAME and attached original copy of my birth certificate from NSO (with corrections) and attach an affidavit from lawyer also.

Ang medyo challenging ay additional documents required from my husband. Here's the case: My husband has worked in Saudi Arabia from 2010-2014. When we started preparing our applications, he decided to just stay here in the Philippines. He's been unemployed since then. Here's the complete requirement from CEM's email.

1. From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate: Original and valid Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) police certificate with English translation.
2. POEA record and exit clearance from KSA.
3 Employment Reference Letter: A letter of reference from your employer;Copies of alll your employment records/contracts for your previous work in KSA.

On the same email from CEM, there was an instruction as well on how to request for PCC from Saudi Arabia. I checked the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/mid-east/saudi-arabia.asp and found below information.

If you are not a citizen of Saudi Arabia:

If you live in Saudi Arabia:
Certificates are available only to current legal residents.

If you live outside of Saudi Arabia:
Certificates are available only to current legal residents.

Nalilito na po ako.. :( Can someone help me please.. :(

hi iankay07,

for police certificate, please send an email to manila immigration and state your situation. I did sent an inquiry and they give me specific requirements if cannot provide for PCC. Currently, I am still gathering the papers and see if it qualify as supporting docs instead of PCC. They stated in the email that they will validate my docs and if there's a need to send a PCC.

sorry i didnt include your quote because of the error.

Hi Zab_mama, IanKay07

In my case, I created a letter addressed to CEM stating the facts - 1. That CIC instructions provided mention that Saudi PCC is only available to current residents 2. that I emailed the Saudi Embassy in PH and they referred me to PH Emb in Riyadh; 3. that the procedure advised by PH EMB in Riyadh entails that I assign a representative, unfortunately, I no longer have any acquaintances in Saudi after being away for more than 8 years. Because of this, I requested to Waive the requirement for Saudi PCC; I have not received any reply from CEM yet (I sent the letter to them last week) and I am hoping they will consider my situation.

Can you share what was the manila immigration requirements asked in lieu of the PCC?

ganyan din ginawa namen dati.. nagsend kame ng email sa CEM requesting na dito nalang isubmit yung passports kesa ipadala pa sa pinas.. pumayag naman sila at nagpadala ng new PPR with instruction na pagsend ng PP dito via VFS.. mas ok sya kase mabilis sila magprocess ng PP.. usually daw 1 month lang pero yung samen less than a month nakuha na din namen.. chaka pwede pa self collect para takbo agad sa VFS pagready for collection na... :D

Iankay07;

Punta kayo sa Saudi embassy dyan sa Pinas. Request police clearance ng Mister mo.

iankay07:
I'm so happy that after 5 months of waiting since we received the positive response of our application, we finally received our 2nd line update! Praise God!!

1. For me as principal applicant, original copy of NBI clearnce using middle name XXXX (misspelled). Misspelled kase yung middle name ko na nasa birth certificate ko but this was already corrected and certified true copy of birth certificate was submitted. Paano po ang gagawin ko dito? Can I just submit a new NBI clearance and attach again copy of my original birth certificate with the correction on my middle name?

2. My husband worked abroad (KSA) for few years (2 employment contract) but decided to stay here in the Philippines when we started preparing our application. CEM is asking for POLICE CERTIFICATE FROM KSA WITH ENGLISH TRANSLATION. Anyone here can help me on this please? Paano po yung process nito now that my husband has been staying here in the Philippines for more than a year already?

3. CEM is also requesting for my husband's copy of EXIT CLEARANCE from KSA. He has a copy of this but it's in ARABIC. Do we still need this to be translated to ENGLISH?

Please help po.. I'm worried we cannot complete this within 30days without proper guidance.

Maraming Salamat.

plano namen kung magiging ok na lahat is either last week of July or early August kame pupunta ng CA tapos sa Toronto yung POE namen since dun din madami yung work na related sa field ng hubby ko... :)

MR and RPRF received 25/May/2015

yes i was requested with the following docs.

1. final exit visa from saudi - translated to english (gastos ..)
2. residence permit - translated to english (another gastos hehe)
3. POEA cert
4. Bureau of Immi cert (cost P1,105)
