good pm po to everybody. Just want to ask your advice especially those who have the same experience.
Here is my timeline:
NOC 1111
Application Date : 07 August 2014
PER : 28 November 2014
2nd line in ECAS : 16 April 2015
Medical request : 20 April 2015

One of the requirements po is the details of unemployment of my husband. Hindi na po kasi nagwork ang husband ko since nanganak ako which is 8yrs ago. Sya po ang full time na nag alaga at nag asikaso sa anak ko while I am working. What kind of details po ba ang need iprovide? Or need to explain? Thank you po in advance!
Congrats my friend!

Congrats po for the MR.. I think you can send a cover letter for the details as you mentioned na cya na ang nag alaga sa anak nyo eversince. Bale kayo po ang Main applicant i believed, so it will suffice just to let them know the situation as he is one of your dependent.

Thanks po sa advice. I will do that! You'll be next in line very soon :)

wow 2 weeks! that is fast! :) thanks sana kami din, magdilang anghel ka sana... all the best din! malapit na padating na yang PPR nyo! ;) :) :)

She was May 2014 applicant like me, they completed their medical by last week of Oct then nareceived nya PPR by 1st week of Nov, 3rd week of Nov nya nasubmit s SGVO and then nareceived nila visa by 1st week of Dec. as in sobrang bilis talaga. Halos magkasabay kami ng timeline kaso mid March 2015 ko n nacomplete medical ko kc nanganak ako last Jan and 1st week of March lng ako nakabalik dito s SG. Sana nga dumating n PPR namin kc miss n miss ko n ang baby ko, planning to resign n pag dumating ung PPR...

May tie up ang bpi sa scotia bank. Check bpi website. But activation is 2 weeks ata before your landing.. pwede ka mag pa wire ng funds basta open ka ng scotia acct :-)
Wire transfer different ba from bank draft?

Naka wooden box naman sya and may permit to travel sya; complete papers.

Dinala kasi dito yun ng mom ko when she went home last year from USA. Now, gusto ko dalahin sa Canada. May idea ba kayo kung ano ang specific rules ng Canada when traveling with these kinds of items?

Thank You.

Hi manila_kbj.

Sa nabasa ko sa site nila, pwede mag open while andito kapa pero dapat within 6mos to 15 banking days prior to your arrival. If less than 15 banking days na visit ka na lang daw sa mga branches nila dun sa Canada. Kaya 6mos kasi kapag may account kana sa kanila pwede ka humingi ng certificate na may deposit kna sa kanila which will serve as proof of funds upon entering Canada, so you don't have to bring with you cash.

Haaiiii...

One month na tahimik pa rin ang ecas ko... still waiting for 4th line... :)

SEPETEMBER MR GETTERS ANYONE?

Cremated Human Remains
Canadian North will accept cremated human remains as long as the carry-on luggage allowance is not exceeded and providing they are stored in an urn, cardboard or wooden box (with a tight-fitting lid to ensure no spillage) that can be security screened. A copy of the death certificate and cremation certificate must be shown to both the check-in agent and security screening personnel. Passengers going through pre-board screening with a cremation container will be asked to place it in a specially designed bin so that it can be screened using x-ray technology. You can visit www.catsa.gc.ca or call 1 800 O-Canada for more information.

Hope it helps ;)
