PPR na po kami. ang problema ko, expiry ng aming passport mag-asawa ay 15-feb-2016. as per the PPR email, expiry of our visa is 10-FEb-2016. sabi doon, kailangan daw valid ang passport, 6months after ng visa expiry. so need talaga renew ang passpport. nakasulat din doon, if ever passport expiry is shorter than the visa expiry, it means that the validity of the visa will be shorter.

Sa pagkakaintindi ko, correct me if wrong, na pwede naman mastamp ang visa sa aming passport, un nga lang mas maiksi ang validity...nagrenew naman po kasi kami ng passport, at mga 3rd week of april pa ang release from Phil. Consulate dubai.

if that's the case, mga katapusan pa ng april.

Hello ElenitaGeoffrey,
Congrats to you!
Ang alam ko, the validity of the passport should be not less than 6 months. But then, since less than a year na lang ang validity ng passport ng asawa mo, you will have to re-new your passport in Canada. Pero mahal ata dun.
So ok lang na magpa renew muna kayo ng passport here before stamping and it's correct that you have to inform and request for an extension of deadline on the submission of your passports.
Your consultant should know how to send this request to the Embassy. Well, if that's a bit of a problem, bayaan mo na na mag re-new kayo later at a higher cost kesa naman ma-jeopardize ang stamping of visas sa inyong passport.
Hindi naman ma-shorten ang validity ng visa nyo kasi lifetime Immigrant & permanent resident na kayo and there's no such thing as shortened validity of immigrant visa. Sa temporary Visa, meron... But I assume your visas are for permanent residents, right?
I hope I am correct and this helps...
Good luck!

Thanks!

Hi ayanami kamusta na pala yung medical nyo tsaka yung nbi nyo?

I had my medicals done dito sa SGP and here are the breakdown:
Adult : 208.65 (medicals) + $70 (xray)
Child: 160.50

** Xray are only required for children 10yrs and above.

With regarding NBI Clearance, if you are unable to get immediate schedule with Phil Embassy for fingerprinting, you can go to SPF sa Cantonment to have your fingerprints done with them. Here's the procedure:
1.Go to Phil Embassy, to get the NBI Fingerprint form
2. Go to SPF sa Cantonment (2pm-5pm) for fingerprinting - $15
3. Go back to Phil Embassy with the NBI Fingerprint form and Picture for them to put the itsy bitsy stamp seal - $42.50
4. Courier the NBI fingerprint form and authorisation letter back to your representative in the Philippines to process the NBI clearance
5. Have them courier it back to you.

Hope you find this helpful :)

Hi po, ask kolng if nakapag send na po ba kayo ng email ng extention of time? How did you do it?

Dear, ako I sent SGVO an email request nung Friday for an extension because i was worried that my NBI clearance might not make it in time, and I received an email response from them today with the extension. They gave me additional month to submit the documents. I made sure to attach the email from the Philippines Embassy that state that their next fingerprinting sched available was on March 19 pa.

Congrats! When was your ECAS updated to Decision Made? Then after that, how many days did it take until you got a notification from CEM that your visa is on its way? Thanks!

In-transit palang daw.

August pinanganak baby namin. Kami kasi, we had to wait for almost 5 mos para lumabas yung NSO copy ng BC ni baby kaya around Dec-Jan na kami nakapag submit ng additional requirements niya just in time nung lumabas yung MR namin..

Guys, i have a question. If I applied with the whole family, pero lets say ako lang muna ang mag fo formal landing, then saka na sila after a few months. Do I still have to bring the whole amount of Proof of Funding? or pwede Proof of Funding for just myself?
