If 3 years gap, baka ipaexplain din sa iyo yan eventually so might as well declare your work dito sa Pinas. Ang alam ko yung isang forumer dito, cannot recall who, may 11-month gap ang dependent niya and they had to submit a written explanation kung ano ginagawa during that time. If I were you, I'll just declare it, include a cover letter/affidavit/written explanation kung bakit walang certified job description. Include supporting docs like payslips, ITR. Even if you won't be claiming points for that 3-yr work experience baka kasi ipa-explain pa rin sayo eh kaya declare mo na lahat para walang hassle. Just my take.
thank you po jammin jamaica. naisip ko na rin po yung sagot nyo, at tama po kayo. nakakatawa lang itong consultant ko tinanong ko po sya ng same question sabi nya wala daw problema ang employment gap haha.

Observation ko lang. Mukhang red flag sa CEM ang long unemployment gaps, tipong 6 mos or more. Lalo na kapag nilagay mo 'unemployed' sa background declaration. Kaya kapag may long gap/s na ganun, be ready na rin lang to explain it. Wag na rin lang mag-'hide' ng info kasi baka may masilip sa background check at maging issue pa. Hassle yun.

Nope. It's already a fact. Take note of this from the international thread:

Guys i have very good news for you all, after sometime of having the hesitation about the CAP updates and how it is being estimated and either for completeness check or CC charge or PER. i decided earlier last month to send an email to CIC asking about that specifically. here below the reply i got today

Dear Sir/Madam:

The website provides an estimate only of the applications included in the cap.

Until the application is checked for completeness, it cannot be confirmed as being received. Once it has been determined that the submission is complete, it is counted in the cap and the information is updated electronically. Due to high volumes of submissions, there is a lag between confirmation of receipt of a complete application and the electronic update of the cap count.

Me I've been unemployed for like 7-8mos but i declared it.
Nilagay ko sa application na 'unemployed' thats it.
Nakalagay naman kasi sa application that 'you should not leave any gaps'.. luckily inde naman na nagtanong si CEM. I guess the trick is just to be honest. Baka magsisi pa po tayo sa huli..

Hi Hello Canada,

I'm already for PPR but my passport will be delivered next week pa din because i recently renewed it. Though i have not received any calls naman from CEM. Dont worry, its just for follow up. They just want to make sure na you are indeed aware na meron ka pang issubmit sa kanila.

I got the same call, using a mobile no. from CEM also but they were following up on my MR before. Medyo natagalan din kasi ako before ngpa MR.. so they also asked me my birthday and middle name and asked when ako magpapamedical. Ganun lang...

So i guess its just for follow up. The important thing is they were notified from your end and they positively acknowledged it.

Goodluck!!

Thank you so much Andy_s for your response. Now I know that they are doing a follow up thru phone call. Good luck and God bless :)
