Sir vncntybnz .. required po ba ang CIIP before landing?
i have no idea what for ang CIIP.. :( :(

TIA. :D

Hindi required na mag-attend ng CIIP seminar, although recommended talaga sya kasi you will really learn a lot of information about employment, etc. in Canada. Please check their website, www.newcomersuccess.ca, to register or to know more details about it.

Hello sa inyong lahat,

We are now Official PR/Immigrants of Canada.
We did our PR landing in Coutts, Alberta last Nov 01, 2014.
We travelled by land going south to the US border in Sweetgrass, Montana.
The landing was pretty simple, nag-U turn lang kame from US Border going to Canadian Border tapos interview with the Immigration officer, kasama namin c baby sa pag exit kaya nung umiyak xa sa loob e mas napadali kame kc inuna kame, lol. The officer even gave us canadian flag after sabay sabing, "WELCOME TO CANADA" and he said that in 3 years we can apply for citizenship.

The travel was so damn long, 12 hours balikan, but okay lang. Nag-snow pa ng konti sa daan kaya mejo bumagal kame sa byahe.
I wish everybody na magka visa na lahat pra kita kita na dito.

Goodluck sa sambayanang Pilipino at Mabuhay taung lahat.

very inspiring! congratulations!

Hi Seniors,

As advised:

Age: 29
Education: Based on ECA REPORT: 2 yrs Diploma
Language Proficiency: IELTS - Listening: 6.5 Reading: 8 Writing: 7 Speaking: 7
Work Experience: NOC 3012
Company A: Dec. 2005 - March 2006 ( 3months )
Company B: August 2006 - June 2009 ( 2yrs & 10 months )
Company C: November 2009 - November 2010 ( 1 yr )
Company D: November 2011 - November 2013 ( 2 yrs )

Adaptability : 0
Arranged Employment : 0

*According to my agency which is CIC-MOA, if they would file my application, it would be risky. As my experience would fall short with points. They said I only get 13pts for that. They also mentioned about Schedule 3 form which doesn't indicate less than 1 year experience anymore. What they explained to me was that - it means CIC will only count the years or per year experience. Now I'm confused, I have worked 48hrs per week on 4 companies listed above. Based on CIC's website, they consider 1 year full-time as 1560hrs. Well, I have a proof that the work hours iis indeed 48hrs. per week which gives me 1920hrs per year.. Would CIC consider that? How do they compute it?

It would be such a big help on my end if someone can clarify this queries I have.

Thank you so much!

God bless you all here!

Hi vinci! Wala ka bang relatives sa Canada na pwede mong i-declare sa application? 5 points din kase yon. And if you're married, ask your spouse to take IELTS. That will give you another 5 points. Mababa lang naman ang requirement sa spouse.

Total: 66 points

I believe that CIC-MOA considered you risky because of your work experience. You are trying to claim 6 years experience but the KEYWORD in the ministerial instruction is "1 year CONTINUOUS experience" so they are not trying to credit and accumulate the months of experience you have in company A & B.

Here's my advice, retake the IELTS and get 7.5 or higher in Listening. Seeing your scores, I think that you will not have any problems doing it. It just takes practice. You will also have peace of mind once you lodge.

And if you think that you are time pressured with 3012, actually you are but here's a little secret. 3233 is WIDE OPEN and parallel with 3012 just make sure you match the JD at around 70-80% which is common for nurses with hospital experience. We already have lots of attestations from applicants here in the forum who worked as a staff nurse but applied for 3233 and got PER.

But this won't be a secret for long. Once the 3012 CAP has been filled, people will start to discover this loophole and 3233 will be filled up too. Predictions for 3012 CAP full is on the first week of December but I believe it will be earlier.

Better register for another IELTS test and try to do DIY rather than hiring CIC. Plain and simple, they suck.

Thank you for the thorough review... I appreciate your effort. Re: IELTS. As I write this, schedules are already full till next month. So, I guess I really have to accept it. It's either wait for Express Entry( and find a prospective employer) or QSW program next year.

God has better plans. God bless you all here! Best of luck as well!

Again, Thank you!
