Hello fellow Pinoy applicants!

Wanted to check if any of you here are going through the same issues as we do.

1) US FBI Certificate Delay -- It's been 6 weeks since we last submitted our request and my credit card has already been charged, but we have not received the letter yet. Anyone out there who has already submitted a request and how long did it take yours to complete?

2) Additional Dependent to request Delay timeline -- My wife's pregnant and we had to defer her X-ray to next year until she delivers here in Singapore and had already informed Manila Visa office. They responded back with only a 30 day extension to do all the necessary document submission but looking into the PH Embassy timelines, it will DEFINITELY take more than 30 days to complete this.
a. Have you gotten an extension beyond the 30 days?
b. Anyone knows how long is the passport processing for infant/newborns upon filing?

Thanks for helping out!

Hi jinjin06,

Same here, delayed ang processing ng FBI clearance because of the system upgrade they recently had. Currently 12 weeks na ang normal processing time nila according to the site.

Nag charge na rin sila sa CC ko but wala pa rin yung clearance. it has been 5 weeks now. Hopefully they can fix yung system issue para bumalik na sa 1 month processing.

fingers crossed! :) :) :)

Good day everyone.

J-Jamaica-

I've had several business trip to US since 2006 (mga 6 or 7 times) the first one lasted for 6-months. Do you think need ko ang FBI clearance? baka kasi hingan ako sabay sa MR so mas mabuti start ko na ang process ngaun.

Thanks sa inputs.

hi insanbakulaw,

I suggest you request for your FBI clearance na as early as now. currently 12 weeks ang processing nila. I had my vacation trip in the US for less than 6 month, but hiningan pa rin nila ako ng FBI clearance.

To all those currently here in Singapore:

If you are planning to do your medical here sa SG, I suggest to do it on a weekday para matapos kayo ng isang araw lang.

We just had our medical last Saturday and kailangan pa namin bumalik ng Monday for our X-ray kahit na schedule namin sa clinic is as early as 9:30AM Saturday.

Currently, mejo malabo pa at magulo sa Drs Horne and Chinn clinic. Kakalipat lang daw kasi nila doon sa new location nila kaya hindi pa smooth ang process. We arrived there 9AM and we have to wait for 2 hours bago pa matawag ng doctor. We finished ng 1230PM na.

The problem is, yung Xray will be done on a different clinic pa sa Shaw house. But during Saturdays until 12:30PM lang yung sa Xray.

FYI lang, Just to help out those who are in SG na mag papa medical pa lang. :) :) :)

Got my Passport request today! Thank you GOD! ;D ;D ;D

Hi Jinjin06! My son was born here in SG. It took us 6 weeks before we were able to collect the passport. Although that was 3 years ago po. Wala kaseng option na urgent. Pero ngyon umaabot na ng 8-12 weeks. You also need to schedule an appointment. Unlike before pwedeng walk-in.

Good day! I want to share my situation. I was given only 2-year Diploma (Nursing Assistant), I graduated from a university. My experiences are: School and Clinic Nurse. Wala akong hospital experience after graduating kasi tinamad na ako mag-apply sa hospitals dahil sa kalagayan ng nurses sa Pinas (alam nyo na, hehe: volunteer or magbayad for training bago maging staff). Nung una nga I was hesitant to apply kasi I heard na puro hospital experience dapat ang meron ka. So ayun wala namang mawawala (money lang haha!) kaya I tried to apply. Sakto na may IELTS GT result na ako last year (nag-apply kasi kami sa FSW 2013 - Chem Engr si fiance - kaso cap reached dahil December na kami nakapagsubmit at 300 lang ang cap). Inexpect namin na may Chem Engr this year kaso biglang nawala. Kaya blessing talaga na kasama na ang RNs. Kaya we prepared everything agad (especially sa WES kasi yun yung medyo matagal) kasi takot na sa cap hahaha! DIY lang with the help of my fiance. Nung una nga kinakabahan pa ako kasi baka mamaya hindi PER ang mareceive ko. Fortunately, naging ok naman lahat, so far - got my MR last week. :) Ang iniisip ko ngayon, buti na lang i tried and took the risk. :) :) :) Good luck po sa ating lahat at sana matupad ang dreams natin na makapag-work in Canada soon. :)

I agree with bosschips, i-match nyo lang ang JD with the main duties in HRSDC if you want to try for LPN. :)

+1 for sharing this! Hindi rin kami umabot last year. Blessed tayo talaga dahil nag-open ang FSWP this year.

very inspiring blue butterfly..but you know, blessing in disguise narin na ngayon ka nagkaPER kasi if last year, matagal ang processing nila and siguro hinde lahat but most of them with interviews. so eto talaga yung pinakamasuwerteng batch. :D

kaya sa mga nagaalangan pa magaplay, grab the opportunity till Dec2014. marami na ang nagsasabi na mahirap ang EOI. kailangan lang ng dasal at makukuha natin to! :D

go PINOY!

I agree - Blessing in disguise nga!

Trust in the Lord and in His plans for us. :D

I share the same sentiments. I was a FSW 2011 aspirant but I have heard of the program by November (Was inspired to migrate when I had a chance to visit relatives there). Waited for 2012 FSW but it was closed temporarily. 2013 FSW was then announced and to my dismay, nurses are out of the list. Come 2014, nurses were back and was even divided into 4 categories! Lucky me, I got a promoted to managerial level and have 3 NOCs to choose from. I wish I hadn't learned about QSW earlier. My app could have been filed earlier and who knows, I might be enjoying the joys of the PPR email right now. :-)

Ang daming what-ifs talaga noh. I know the feeling heheh. Everything happens in God's timing. :D
