Has anybody here tried calling 1-613-944-4000 or 1-888-242-2100? Last month, I was able to talk to a representative via 1-613-944-4000, but the girl said she doesn't have access to FSW applications. Did anybody experience otherwise? Thanks!

Hello all,

I tried sending an e-mail to CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca (without spaces) 9 times, but all failed. Whenever I use Gmail, I get the following error message:

Technical details of permanent failure:
local-part of envelope contains utf8 but remote server did not offer SMTPUTF8

So I edited the settings to avoid Unicode (UTF-8) encoding for outgoing messages. I also typed in directly onto text field (as opposed to copy-pasting), didn't attach files, and chose plain text instead of HTML or rich text format. Still no use.

I then tried YahooMail twice, but it won't send the e-mail because, according to it, CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca (without spaces) is not a valid e-mail address.

Can anybody please help? Thanks a lot!

Newbie in this forum... Bakit late ko ng nalaman yung ganitong forum... anyway, hopefully someone can help me out on my concerns....

I applied under NOC 1111 (Financial Auditors & Accountants) last May 29, 2014. Due to busy schedule as an Accountant, I hired a consultant. Obviously I know that nothing beats "DIY" work on your own application and after reading the posts from the forums.

However, until now my DD has not been charged yet as of September 15, 2014. By the way, BPI is very helpful in updating me if my DD has been charged. Hopefully by next week they will have a result on my DD as of September 30 or later date.

Also, I already emailed CIC several times and the reply may take at least another 30 days. I even tried the CAIPS immigration File check but I will get the results by November.

What makes me skeptical on my consultant is that I was informed that all of their submitted FSW applications have no UCI yet. Obviously, when I checked this forum, there's a trending of PERs.

Question: I want to do DIY on my application, I'm planning to re-submit before December 31 (it's another shot to take but better try), how can I get a duplicate copy of my TRF (IELTS)? They don't issue another one unless you apply to the likes of CIC, but what documentary proof should I present to them? I also read a posts that an attested copy will do and just tell CIC that I already sent the original IELTS earler? Is it ok to re-submit while waiting for the first one?

Hopefully I can still get a PER from Canada. Australia has been easier for me to immigrate but I pray that I also can get positive results from Canada...

Use 3233. I did!

Hello Willow05!!! 3233 is LPN right? Are you also a practicing RN here in the Philippines? When did you submit your application? Did they accept it under NOC 3233?

Online predictions say that 3012 will close on the 1st week of December. But I believe it will be earlier because of the aspiring QSW applicants (who did not meet the CAP due to recent closure of the program last August) are now redirected by agencies to apply to FSW. Take note that Philippines is the #2 source of immigrants in CA and we have A LOT of nurses.

Here are the other alternatives which are ICE COLD (You could apply until May 31, 2015 without fear of CAP):

3233 Licensed practical nurses
3011 Nursing co-ordinators and supervisors
0311 Managers in health care

3233 could be a viable option if you could play around with your Job Description (Nurse Associates/ Nurse assistant/ OR technicians, etc.)
3011 and 0311 are for the managerial level nurses (Head Nurses/Supervisors and Director of Nursing/Chief Nurse)

Thank you bosschips!!! I am an operating room nurse, NOC 3233 is a good alternative. Have you encountered RNs whose applications for FWSP 2014 were accepted under 3233?

Yes 3233 is LPN. Yes I am practicing RN in pinas. Sent application June 26, but was received at CIO July 3. No PER yet, waiting pa.

Wala po ako kilala sa BPI... I just followed the advice in this forum, nung una di din ako pinansin ng bpi branch pero kinausap ko lang ng masinsinan yung branch manager, may ineemail sila sa main office nila tapos after 3 working days reply nun at may update ng DD mo

There are already attestations on successful applicants who are RNs who applied as 3233. It's all about the JD. Please refer to my previous posts.

I think the cap "counter" is not realtime. like the data was probably from june pa. I'm not sure

Yes it is not real time and according to SS and thread observations, it is the number of PERS issued/number of complete apps (based on the recent 2174 "cap full" jump).

I really hope you could share some light on the failed attempts of your colleagues on 3012 due CAP reached. Do you mind asking them their App sent/received date at CIO and when did they receive the email stating that they did not make it to this year's 3012 cap.

CONGRATS! Ambilis! God bless! :)
