NEWS FLASH: The current application cycle for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), which opened in May, 2014, will finish at the end of this year.

I could not find any links from the official immigration site of Canada regarding this news. All I see in google are links from immigration agencies. Take note of Century's take regarding this. It should be taken with a grain of salt.

It was never guessing but a fact. Canadavisa is actually guessing. What matters is what the Minister of Canada instructed.

A maximum of 25 500 new complete applications submitted for the Federal Skilled Worker Class, without an offer of arranged employment, will be considered for processing for the period of May 1, 2014, to April 30, 2015, unless otherwise indicated in a future Ministerial Instruction.

Ask lang poh ako sa inyo if mayroon applicant ditto na ang husband e nagwowork sa government (ex. Philippine Coast, Navy, Police, etc.) na nag asked yung Manila VO nang additional supporting documents?

Guys kinakabahan na ako..June2 applicant, CC charged last Sept 18,2014 but still no PER.. ???

So anxious right now, kasi dumating lang ng sakto yung additonal docs ko Sept 18, 2014 lang din..same day ng CC charged ko, but a week before that CIC emailed me requesting to send my additional amended WES.

ang galing! PER depende sa kaso minsan may 7days tapos pinakamatagal 1 buwan. Hintay lang. ang medical mga 30-40days pagtapos ng PER.

meron po ako tanong sa settlement funds.. ng declare ako ng amount for assets (savings account) then amount sa liabilties pero under sa settlement funds nilagay ko full amount ung nakalagay sa asset, hindi ko sinubtract ung liabilities ( credit card bill). pero gumawa ako cover letter nilagay ko na ung payment sa liabilities not taken from the savings.. OK lang kaya yun? pero kahit i-minus ung liabilities sa asset more than required pa rin ung balance naman... thanks in advance.
