Hi everyone!

I'm trying to open the "Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] (PDF, 487 KB) June 2014" but laging nagpo-pop-out ang message na i need a later version of pdf viewer. I already installed acrobat XI pero ganun pa rin. How did you guys deal with this? Thanks so much!

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM0008ENU_2D.pdf

try mo munang isave/download yung form, tapos open mo locally yung saved form...or you can also view it on IE 10

:)

Question po ulit.

Kailangan pa po ba magsubmit ng birthcertificate ng mother ko and ng brother ko tsaka death cert ng Dad ko? Ksama po ba yun sa requirements?

hmm, parang wala akong nakita sa checklist na need siyang isama.

Salamat, akosiempre :). Which one do you prefer bank draft, certified cheque, postal money order (PMO) or manager’s cheque?

BPI Managers Check... mabilis lang mag issue :)

I used Metrobank demand draft last time. So I've gone the same route din. ;D

Hello Kabayan,

Need help on the copy of documents that should be sent to CIC. Am I correct that only ECA and IELTS is the required original copies? How about the rest of the documents like birth certificates, diplomas, TOR etc, are they okay to be submitted in plain photocopies only or should i need to have it notarized? And if these needs to be notarized, how is notary fee calculated? Is it per pages? (wow ang mahal naman non kung per page)

I also have another problem, my spouse has a mistake in his birth certificate. His gender was female instead of male. We are in a common-law relationship and my application is under family class. This is hindering me to include him in my application as accompanying member. He cannot get a passport because of this. I intend to send his wrong birth certificate with an affidavit that we are currently fixing his record. Is this okay? And if we are able to fix his birth certificate by early 2015, can I update my application to include him as accompanying member?

Lastly, what other alternatives to use as proof of common-law relationship? We don't have any property acquired together, no lease contract or joint bank account. We only have our son that he acknowledged by signing the birth certificate.

Sorry sa daming tanong, hinahabol ko kasi NOC ko baka sakaling umabot.

Hi Blue,

ECA and IELTS --> needs to be original
Documents like BC, Diplomas, TOR --> copies only
For all documents na not in english, should be provided with translation and must be notarized. since most docs sa pinas is in english. you shouldn't worry about this

Regarding dun sa BC problem of your spouse, i advise to proceed with your application first while sorting out the problem. Passport is one of the requirement to be submitted kasi eh. but let's hear other advices ng mga experts natin.

regarding proof of common law relationship.. you may check this list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=347&t=14

Goodluck and Godbless ;)
