To be honest mahirap mgtiwala sa mga agency na based sa pinas with filipino immigration consultants. Most of them are not aware of the updates in immigration and ask for documents that are not necessary. It is better to hire consultants based in Canada. They know the market better.

Starting to fix my papers with regards to Proof of Funds, I graduated last 2012 kaya para sa isang katulad ko there's no way na magkaroon ako ng (11k+) para sa proof of funds. My sister-in-law suggested na mag joint account na lang kami ng Tatay ko at humingi ng Bank Certificate. I'm already here in Canada to have an overview kung paano ang buhay dito and hopefully maayos ang lahat mula sa paper works hanggang sa maging permanent resident. Let's do this! Goodluck sa atin

You can use your name just include "c/o" to your mother's name then your address in the philippines.. it will be wiser to use the applicants name to avoid issues.
