Is there anyone here who's dependent are not accompanying to Canada? Can you possibly share with me about your plans?

In our application, both my hubby and my 3 years old daughter will accompany to Canada....But recently mejo naiisip ko na prang risky since we don't have any relatives in Canada. Here are my options.

1. All of us will land in Canada then maybe after a month my hubby will send my daughter back to PH then he will be back to Singapore to work again. It means, VL muna c hubby for a month. Then, I will stay in Canada to find work. By the way, kme ni hubby eh currently working sa Singapore while c baby eh nsa pinas...Typical situation of OFWs kaya eto ngttry sa Canada....Hirap dn kc tlg ng magkkahiwalay.....

Then in case, I managed to find a job, saka magrresign c hubby then sunod n sya saken s Canada. Once na mejo stable n kme then kunin n c baby.....

2. Only me and hubby will land in Canada....Sabay n kme try ung chance sa Canada....Then saka kunin si baby kpg ok na kme....I'm considering this since it is difficult to be alone there....Mejo naduduwag lng po...

However, I'm thinking in case my baby will not accompany to Canada, how long will be the process to get her?

It really bothers me these past few days....I know, I need to decide since between PER and MR (waiting) stage pa lang ako....At least once mag-email ang CEM I can tell them that my daughter will not accompany to Canada anymore.

DIY lang din ba application nyo? kung may consultant kayo better makuha natin ang sagot to this kind of questions.. Kasi sa pagkakaalam ko yearly may required length of stay inside Canada ang nirerequire ( ayon sa narinig ko lang e 2 months..not so sure about the matter)..

Tapos once makahanap ako ng stable job sa Canada tsaka na lang siya magresign sa Pinas at balik siya sa Canada for good na. Ang rules naman sa PR, one must live in Canada for at least two years in a five-year period. So pwede mga after a year or two (after first landing) nalang siya mag-stay dun for good. No need to report sa Embassy as long as pasok sa rules nila. Just remember na THEY WILL NEVER EXTEND the visa validity date for first landing.
The important thing is, makapag-first landing muna kayong lahat then pwede sila umalis ulit.

Unfortunately ngbayad kme ng consultant but I think better to ask in this forum kc 48 years before makreceive ng reply from them.
I only have their attention during the courtship stage….lol! After magbayad eh mejo mahirap n cla mareach….Sobra ung stress na inabot ko sa consultant kc prang nghire k lng ng encoder…Checking ako tlg lahat….ngresearch din tlg ako….and ikaw tlg magpupush ng application mo…if nde eh wlang mangyayari kasi after lng tlg cla s payment mo…late n kasi nung nadiscover ko etong forum….nkabayad n kme….Anyways, tapos na un…

So going back to my dilemma…I'll try to post in international thread later and will also try to email my consulant. But I'm hoping na meron similar case d2 na makkatulong saten….

Thank you Lord for the early xmas gift and to all the people here who offered support and advice (I'm a silent follower)!

Received my MR last Dec 5, 2014. Too tired yesterday to charged my tablet after a tiring friday overtime from work. I figure that there wont be an email from Immigration on Friday, since really I have been checking my email regulary everyday and nothing from Manila Immigration, one day of not checking will not make a difference. So earlier, while I'm preparing to sleep, I suddenly got the urge to charge my tablet and check my email, Lo and behold , I have two email from a sender with a long name, my mind couldn't process ??? ??? it as I'm too sleepy, but I am super awake ;D ;D now after reading the email!!! First email for MR and RPRF and the another email for the MR attachment.

So its time for me to ensure I have a healthy body before I do the med exam.

I'm sure all of of you guys here who are waiting, will have theirs too!!

I'm not in a situation like yours but here's my opinion.

I think it will be better if you and your hubby will BOTH try your luck in Canada. Like what you said, you don't have any relatives in Canada, so it will be better if you have somebody to take care of you in case something might go wrong (you get sick etc.). Getting sick alone abroad is hard without your family to look after you. In this case, if you have your hubby then at least we all know you can get by.

But the question is, can you live for sometime without your baby? I think you can naman. As filipinos/OFW we all can endure that just for the better future. Having your baby with you in Canada is good, but that would mean only 1 of you can work full-time because one has to attend to your baby's need. Not unless you would want your baby to stay in, let's say, a daycare, which i personally despise. :-X

In case of your baby, please be reminded that application to sponsor will be an arduous process AGAIN. The sponsorship for spouse/dependent child will take sometime. Applying to become a sponsor will approximately take 60days. After that they will send your application to the visa office and currently the processing will take 15months (current timeline from CEM). Not to mention you have to be financially stable to be a sponsor (though there is no minimum income guideline to sponsor spouse or dependent child).

So my vote goes to - you should land with your hubby and you can do what Blue Butterfly will do, he lands and then go back after he resigns or do what he has to do. and later on sponsor your baby.

Just my 2 cents.
