Also, want to ask you guys, in the Manila Immi email it says:

You should make arrangements to undergo the required medical examinations within sixty (60) days from the date of this letter.

However in the IMM1017 It includes a phrase like this:

IMPORTANT:Youarerequiredtoundergothemedicalexaminationswithin30daysofthedateofthis letter.Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application.

I couldnt take a leave from work for the next two weeks, and read from SLEC website that they will be close starting Dec 24 and normal ops will be back on Jan 5. So ill be able to take a med exam around Jan 5 or 6. But that will not be within 30 days. Do you think, Ill have a problem with this?

Are there people here who took their ME after 30 days, even if in the IMM1017, it indicates it should be w/n 30 daya? Thank a lot!

First of all congrats kase may MR ka na.
Now if you really cannot take your leave for the medical, you can email manil immi and let them know why. They are pretty considerate naman. Just give them a valid reason.

Not sure if there's somebody here who took their medical after 30days pa.

Mag sick leave ka na lang para matapos na agad MR mo. Hehe. Just kidding.

Hi guys, pahelp naman po, (sorry makulit) for those who have received their MR.

The IMM 1017 E (11-2014) GCMS I have received state that :


IMPORTANT:You are required toundergo the medical examinations within 30 days of the date of this letter.Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application

But in the letter it says

You should make arrangements to undergo the required medical examinations within sixty (60) days from the date of this letter

Im planning to take it Jan 6 kc.. Could I disregard the 30 days note and assumed it is really 60 days?

Ill try to take a leave in the coming week, hanang jan 14 kc vacation ko sa woork after dec 23. So naghihinayang ako sa leave credits na mababawas, gusto ko sulitin ung vacation ng january for processing my appn.

Hi everyone! What's next after cc has been charge? Is there any background investigation or documents verification I mean will they call my employers or the banks to validate the documents I have submitted before they sent me the PER or any emails? Or is the PER only based on the documents submitted and no further verification? ???

hi after cc charged count 10 days estimate only you will receive PER email, If you got PER it means you passed the completeness check and all the requirments for FSW2014 after receiving per cic will forward your app to the VIsa Office, thats the time they will do back ground checks after that Approx 1 month or now they slowed down 45 days you will receive medical request.

Not quite sure whether CEM has received my e-mail or maybe not due to mailbox full.

1-2 months po ang PER to MR. Pero mukang bumagal sila ng sobra ngayon.. so antay antay na lang po tayo.
Expect an email coming from Canadian Embassy Manila (CEM).

Typically it goes like this:

1. All correspondence should be SENT to:
manil.immigration @ international.gc.ca

2. All emails pertaining to MR/RPRF/PPR will be COMING from:
MANILIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca


In short, kapag may tanong ka or issend mo scanned documents, send it to the first one.
Pero lahat ng issend ni CEM na email pertaining to either MR/RPRF or PPR will be coming from the second one.
CEM received your email dun sa first email i listed above. But i doubt it went through dun sa 2nd one.

Is there anyone here who's dependent are not accompanying to Canada? Can you possibly share with me about your plans?

In our application, both my hubby and my 3 years old daughter will accompany to Canada….But recently mejo naiisip ko na prang risky since we don't have any relatives in Canada. Here are my options.

1. All of us will land in Canada then maybe after a month my hubby will send my daughter back to PH then he will be back to Singapore to work again. It means, VL muna c hubby for a month. Then, I will stay in Canada to find work. By the way, kme ni hubby eh currently working sa Singapore while c baby eh nsa pinas…Typical situation of OFWs kaya eto ngttry sa Canada….Hirap dn kc tlg ng magkkahiwalay…..

Then in case, I managed to find a job, saka magrresign c hubby then sunod n sya saken s Canada. Once na mejo stable n kme then kunin n c baby…..

2. Only me and hubby will land in Canada….Sabay n kme try ung chance sa Canada….Then saka kunin si baby kpg ok na kme….I'm considering this since it is difficult to be alone there....Mejo naduduwag lng po…

However, I'm thinking in case my baby will not accompany to Canada, how long will be the process to get her?

It really bothers me these past few days….I know, I need to decide since between PER and MR (waiting) stage pa lang ako….At least once mag-email ang CEM I can tell them that my daughter will not accompany to Canada anymore.
