not an expert on this but I think it's okay that your wife's passport still has her maiden name on it as long as you've submitted your marriage certificate along with the application. the immigration officer should be able to trace and validate that she is your wife. when your papers are forwarded to the local VO, you can submit her updated passport (with her married name on it) and everything else will follow.varuen said:Please help! I have applied to FSW in the month of MAY/JUNE.
there are 2 applicants in my file, me & my wife.
My wife's passport carries her maiden name before marriage, and we did not change her name as just after marriage we applied for Quebec visa as well. And now for FSW.
So there was no time for us to change the name of my wife as even the passport with new changed name takes minimum 1 month and we were in hurry.
Now my question is, now i have the time.
1) How I can change the name of my wife in her application? Because i want my wife should carry the PR card with her changed name after marriage.
2) As my application is under processing, for changing the name, now can i make the changes in her passport for change in name?
Experts please help!!!
I think ok lang na maiden name ng wife mo ang passport Nya kasi sa generic form, May nakalagay naman dun na question sa part Nya na "have you ever used an alias?" Click mo ang YES then dun mo ilagay ang maiden name Nya.varuen said:Please help! Bit complex!

i am no expert regarding this po. pero i think by the time they received your file, un naman ang basis nila. not the time they opened your file. pero better if we will here from real experts.. Mine will expire on July 20, 2014, but already submitted my application last week.
Just have fear that it might be returned due to expired IELTS. Thank you fellow applicants.
I do believe it will be based on PER date.pinx00 said:Hi. Anyone from here had their application sent with a near IELTS expiry. Please share your experience.

conflicting answers based on the global forum, some says PER date while others say received date. I personally think naman it's the received date.bosschips said:I do believe it will be based on PER date.

Question:
Do I need to submit detailed COEs for the jobs not related to the NOC code I applied for? Or a regular COE will do? I have this 1 month call center stint that reflected on the SSS claims that I would like to declare but not in a very detailed way like my hospital nursing work.
Any reply will be appreciated.
Good morning 2014 pinoy FSW applicants!
Sana I-update tayo ni @pinx00 para malaman natin kung ano talaga.ppmom said:conflicting answers based on the global forum, some says PER date while others say received date. I personally think naman it's the received date.
You need to submit all COEs of all jobs (even NOC that are not related) that you had for the past 10 years but if you can't get it, you can write an explanation letter on why you weren't able to produce it, if hindi mo siya isasama.
That's true. I think, it really depends on the person who will be assigned to review your application.ppmom said:conflicting answers based on the global forum, some says PER date while others say received date. I personally think naman it's the received date.

Amen, been claiming Philippians 4:4-9 kasi I've been really anxious about this whole thing, needed that peace that surpasses all understanding.A-Cheng said:Pinx, i missed the info you already lodged your app pala.
What else we can do is the best way that we can do it- pray.
God bless you. If it is your time God will pave the way.
