Hello All,

I got RPRF today.

App date: 22nd Dec

They have asked for " Original New Indian PCC " for me. I had already taken PCC on 1st May 2015 which is 5 months old now.

Is this Ok or should I take a new one? Please advice.

Hey Guys,

I have sent my passport by VFS, however it was sent to Canada Visa Office ,Bangalore, instead of New Delhi, as was it was given in the PDF attached in the letter.

Anyone in the same situation.

Best of luck you all :)

Regards,

No Worries my friend! That's a default message for all south India VFS applicants. For all PR applicants, passports will be sent to New Delhi only. I spoke to VFS call center when I was in the situation. Congratulations for the process. I had my passports with Maple leaf just yesterday,, excited!

Regards, Km

Hurray!!! It's Maple leaf in our passports... Got the passports yesterday stamped and COPR for my family. Thanks a lot for the all the forumites for all the help and advice extended and for the positive spirit maintained through the whole process.

I am planning to land in December 2nd week or so alone initially, family will join me later. Quick questions:

1. Can I show Fixed deposit I had for this process as POF at the port of entry.? Are Fixed deposits from Indian banks accepted as POF at POE?
2. And, any advice on the right amount to have in hand for 4-5 months living for a single person in Toronto?
3. Anybody planning to land during December 1st or 2nd week so that we can plan better for arranging facilities and services and make settlement smoother?

All the best to all those waiting for next steps! Patience is the key.. this is what seniors on this forum have been preaching and it's proven too :)

Regards,
KM

congrats. just a question. The issue date on your maple leave ,was it a date after you sent your passport or it was a date before.
have some confusions with a friend.
Some say your maple leaf issue date is the date you were asked to submit your passport
