FSW2014 NDVO Applicants Shifted to COLOMBO Let us connect

hello everyone,

My spouse stayed in Italy for 7months in 2011-12. I got PCC from Italy on 14 April, 2015. Is it expired for not. If we check the status of it, its validity is for 6 months. I am confused. Should I applied for another PCC or not. Please give me reply urgently.

There is an unbelievable delay in Colombo Visa Office.Everybody thinks that the reason is student and visit visa..

If it is correct, It should be happened last year too...Anyone could experience the same in last year at this time of days...

what is your idea?

Any comment .....seniors please share your experience for those who are waiting for a news from Colombo

Don't knw if this has happened earlier... All we knw is that our file was transferred for faster processing and it can't be slower than this... Don't see a reason for delay in PPR after DECISION MADE.. They charged Right for Permandnt Resident fee 2 months backs but refuse to handover the "RIGHT"... All the more they do not think it's a responsibility on their part to atleast inform us about the delay . 32 days gone after DM... CVO IS TESTING OUR PATIENCE!!

last year files were not transferred to other vo's.
it happened this year only.
this time only there was 1000 cap for each occupation.
and until last year cvo was not meant for FSWP.
they used to process other types os visas only

Thank you for your quick response. I have not submitted it yet. I think I might raise a Case Specific Enquiry with a scanned copy attached and ask them if they would like me to send them the original.

I'm confused because http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp says "For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply. For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country." Which makes sense. I have not lived in the US since 2010 so if this is the case mine, which was issued in April '15, should be valid.

Every PCC is valid till 3months and must be not more than 3 months old.

If you already submitted your FBI biometric PCC to CIC they will not ask again if it is expire, as CIC know the time taken for FBI PCC.

Application recd 16-10-2014, PER 15-01-2015,
AOR-25-02-2015 ( NDVO to CVO) ,RPRF request-21-05-2015, Medical request- 22-05-2015
Medical done-24-05-2015,TLU-08-06-2015
DM-27-06-2015, PPR-30-07-2015...
