Hi Friends,

I am a 5th Dec applicant with AOR on 26th March and still waiting eagerly for SLU and MR. CVO, please please make some positive progress with our applications.. My friend's application with exactly same timeline is processed by WVO and his TLU is already updated and is waiting for PPR. Lets hope the best for all of us..

Guys,
What would say of me then !!!

28th Nov'14 applicant under NOC 2172;
PER on 16th Feb;
NDVO -> CVO;
AOR -> 7th April;

Absolutely nothing after that.... It has been close to 3.5 months now!!!
Just wondering if at all it will ever come my way !!!
Completely frustrating!!!!!

fortunately I got away with the processing before the start of study visa season.
I guess it will be like this for another one or two weeks.
Each and every file will be processed.
I can understand that this wait is hell of a frustration.
But no other way.

Frankly, how can study visa take this much time from Colombo.. I have got no idea !!!
Are there that many students from Sri Lanka who go to study to Canada every year ?

I don't know how come a few applications from Sept & Oct 2014 got stuck in all this study visa thing even after getting DM (on eCAS) while on the other hand a lot of late October applicants got their PPRs (no offense to them). I couldn't think of any reason for this delay.

I myself was a student in Canada and during my processing time this same delay happened to PR files.
in Canada there had been 1 lakh foreign students in 2012.
That number keeps increasing every year. Most of the students are from China and Indian subcontinent.
study visas are expensive and Canadian govt get more revenue from students.
and all of us must keep in mind that PR in Canada is not our right but just a privilege.
And cvo is not dealing with only our applications. They hsve a lot of other stuff to do. Thry csnt relax because the pay is hourly and they hsve certain target to meet every day.
Nothing is gonna change anything if you get frustrated and ask these questions everyday.
just relax keep your head cool. Everything will happen at the right time
