dear km
I asked this question to an immigration officer at the port of entry.
he clarified that the principal applicant can land alone without dependents.
but it is impossible for the dependent to land alone before principal applicant.

Congratulations on becoming Canadian Permanent resident officially. You Rock... Many thanks for getting this information and sharing it with us. You clarified an important doubt in many people's mind.

Please share the details on things like experience at port of entry, any possible questions/issues that we should be ready to answer. And, also as you settle down, please share process to apply for insurance, accommodation and agreements, telephone/mobile connection and any other useful tips.

Thanks again. Wish you a great time in Canada! I would like to talk to you if you don't mind, I am not sure how to send a personal message using this forum, if you know could you please leave your contact details in a personal message.

Hi friends !

Need imp. Piece of advice. Pls respond.
Is it a wise decision to Resign once your Medical is clear. As I have to serve 3 months notice period in present job before I can plan my landing.

Appriciate views of senior members.

I feel you should resign only after medicals as if medicals are okay you are sure enough that nothing will go wrong. And any ways you get enough time to move to Canada. you will also get sufficient time to prepare yourself for starting your new life in an unknown place.
