Today i checked with CVO about my Application status and replied that its in queue for officers review,
my time line is
application received on 21 November 2014
process started 19th March 2015
AOR from CVO on 9th may 2015

please help me to know current status

I asked this question to an immigration officer at the port of entry.
he clarified that the principal applicant can land alone without dependents.
but it is impossible for the dependent to land alone before principal applicant.

As long as your documentation is fool proof, proof of funds are intact you need not worry at all. Couple of weeks of delay are normal. Reasons such as claiming points for having relatives in Canada can also result in extended processing times.
It also depends on how fast a particular visa officer processes his part

they will also process PR application alongside. But priority goes to study visa applications since it must be done before the last date of reporting at college.

Please share the details on things like experience at port of entry, any possible questions/issues that we should be ready to answer. And, also as you settle down, please share process to apply for insurance, accommodation and agreements, telephone/mobile connection and any other useful tips.

Hi all

I sent my passports whole family via VFS to NDVO 2 days back when can i expect them back also are BC over
i have a question in my mind what if i land first as principal applicant and after few days come back to india do i need to carry same settlement funds during my second visit to Canada as PR.
