HI Samnov,

They asked for medical examination for my son. I think you should contact them to make sure they are not missing your son's information. However, they did not ask me to deposit RPRF for my son. any inputs guys?

Cheers

RPRF are not required to be paid for:
1. dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and
2. PR applicants under Refugee category.

So they were right for not requesting RPRF from your son

You and your dependants (irrespective of the age) must have a medical exam; it is mandatory for your dependants even if they are not coming with you.

Someone on this forum had similar issues before; the person reveiwing the file probably didnt know that you have addditional secondary applicants. You should do an email to them to that effect; am sure they will ask you to pay a processing fee for the baby (if you have pay it) and they will require that you fill another form indicating that he (your son) is a secondary applicant. You will be fine, no need to panic.

Good luck
Thanks JJ-C,
We have appointment today for medical exam. I will let them creat
New file.

Guys,

Did anyone from the US came across a small issue with passport photos? Here is our dilemma; we got our photos for the passport request done in Walgreens. And they had a Canadian standard passport photo requirements built in their system already. So, they used that preset template within their system to print our photos. But according to CIC web site each photo should be 35 to 45 mm long. And the photos we got from walgreens are like 60mm long. But the face measurements like from crown to chin ones are exactly the same as CIC web site required. So, we are wondering is the visa office going to cut them on their own OR should we cut them down to 35-45mm long? We asked walgreens photo people, they did not know and they did not have a photo cutter that size. And we are worried if we send them as they are, it might come back. Does anyone know anything about this?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Please and please find a way to cut it to the precribed size. Otherwise, I will advise that you get the electronic copy and then go to another photgrapher who can print it to the specified size for you.

Thank you JJ-C!
