They asked for PCC - India, FBI Report and Bank Statements for last 6 months.

I guess FBI report is going to take a while so I sent them finger prints same day... their process has been changed a little bit too. Now you are not supposed to send self addressed envelope with application, nor did they ask for a fedex account number! If I remember correctly they used to ask for at least one of those things ! I don't understand it..looks like they will pay for the shipping of reports!

Hey Mshaikh brother,
Our FBI clearance took seven weeks but within those weeks the government was shut down. So, do not worry Inshallah you will receive yours pretty soon! Yes, they changed their procedures a little, they used to request fedex account or envelope. But we got ours in a certified mail and we did not have to pay for it. What I mean is my experience with FBI clearance has always been smooth and timely. I hope my experience will put your mind at ease!

I think..they should allow time since there is nothing you can do in such case..!

Yes i received updated document request on 16th October. i sent documents on 28th November.
Any idea what will be next step? When will i get passport request?

I have one question regarding Proof of funds....i already sent last 6 months bank statement to show my available funds.
Can i withdraw money now? If everything goes smooth....i am planing to land in first week of march 2014....will they again ask for it at port of entry?

Yes i did sent email to CPP-O. But haven't received any response. so, along with my updated documents, which i sent them on 28th , i again asked for allowing me some extra time to submit FBI clearance certificate.

As far as I know, you *have to* carry the min amount for total applicants when you land. I dont think taking money out would be an issue since you already sent statements. But if I were you, i absolutely wouldn't take it out unless in case if emergency.

You never know what they ask for and when, right?

March should be okay in my opinion - looking at their recent processing times but no one can really tell for sure.

They didn't ask for the immigration forms or employer letter? I hope you get your FBI report quicker than you expect. My husband and I are going to do the fingerprints this weekend and I'm going to send out the forms because of the longer processing time.
