Very happy for you JJ-C! It is strange that some (like myself) got no document request but others did, another one of the cic mysteries :)

Thanks. I was almost certain that I will be getting updated documents request... because so many factors that will be useful for assessing my applications have changed since my application was filed--bagged two degrees, got a baby boy etc.

By the way who is your case officer. Mine is SN6164

I'm not sure who my case officer is, I looked on my RPRF and it says RI6193 I think.

No one can provide a specific answer to that except CIC itself. I have seen response time of between 10 days to 3 months. Good luck

Unfortunately there is no MR yet. I am wondering what they are processing for so long.

Hi All

This week I have got my MR along with documents request and FBI clearance certificate. I have a question regarding FBI clearance certificate: What is the best way to send the finger prints to FBI, printing manually on the fingerprint card or via bio-metrics? If bio-metrics is suggested then where, I live in Philadelphia, PA.

Considering the delays with FBI response, I want your expert advise on this one. I am given 60 days to submit all the documents and I am not sure whether i will receive response from FBI before that. Also I am little worried about the rejections due to quality of prints, though I have done a decent job.

Your advice is deeply appreciated.

Thanks

OSR

don't listen to these so called "experts" around here. FBI channelers response are not accepted by CIC. It does not matter if you are an US citizen or not, they are just not accepted, period. Trust me in this.

Hi OSR,

I guess it is better to get a State Police Clearance via bio metric fingerprinting as this will take 5 to 7 days only, FBI is having a backlog right now due to the previous shutdown. I applied first week of October to FBI and up to now they are only procession last week of September.

Hope this helps

Our thread has been a little quiet lately, any updates? My family completed our medical last week and I paid the RPRF alhumdulilah. Now just waiting. We didn't get a document request yet but I think I'll just start gathering what I think they'll ask for, specifically send away for fbi pcc. I hope we start to get ppr soon :)
