If that's the only consequence of the court ruling, then it means that there will be effectively ZERO change in processing times. I guarantee it.

Because the decision seems to be a case specific one. There was no general order, it just says they can’t use pandemic as an excuse in court, but if hardly anyone sues, then there is nothing big from this, since it’s better for them to lose a few court cases and continue to delay the rest. Though it kinda opens a path for you to sue after receiving PR, for the delay caused serious economic/psychological damage.

Can someone please explain what's the potential downside of going for upfront remed?

The only downside is if they’d extended it themselves you end up paying more money.
Also, you take a chance that you will get everything ready to move in less then 1 year after that upfront re-med. if your file takes longer you may need to do it again in order to move.

Lesson 10001: PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR SPAM AND ALL THE FKING FOLDERS IN YOUR EMAIL.

So it looks like this applicant lost the email about ADR for proof of funds. The applicant claims they did not see ADR.
Folks, the spam folder in GMAIL deletes after 30 days automatically. So do check spam everyday. I am not aure how this person is going to fight back. Really unlucky, if they never got the email because they cannot prove it to IRCC.

Jokes aside, people should learn to not treat IRCC as a responsible governmental body of a developed country because they're not. Since this whole process is just as shooting an arrow into darkness and only learning whether it was a hit or miss in at least 12 months, people should act not only diligently with their submission, but paranoid. Paranoia saves you in this mindfuck of a process where IRCC won't respond to ANY of your correspondences so forget about webforms. Think about all the 0.000001% chance situations that could occur in one of the 10000000 parallel universes and prepare your documents accordingly.

ADRs are usually received as a correspondence in one's EE profile so I'm not sure how this person missed it. "Request letter asking me to resubmit" sounds dumb as shit so I have a feeling the person just fucked up something simple and is pretending.

I have been to Antalya and it's hot as hell. It was impossible to breathe outside, if it weren't for air-conditioner we couldn't have survived the heat lmao. Due to weather conditions, it's one of the least fav cities in Turkey.

True. ADR shows up as a letter in EE profile, so the person will get a notification.

We have not seen too many PPR's lately, and on the another hand IRCC said they'll process 1.47 thousand backlog application or people.
I was hoping to see some positive movement for early 2021 AOR's but its not happening.
Anybody with their views and opinions on this.
I guess IRCC would say they have focused on Ukraine and thus did not match up the target.

Visa office is London so no use of call.GCMS takes a lot of time.The reason of asking the question here is that people might have experienced the same activities in their profiles.
