Hi everyone,

I'm PNP(OINP)-Outland applicant with AOR Dec 2019, I had done upfront medicals in March 2021 which were updated on portal on 6 May 2021. After that I have no communication from IRCC.

Should I raise this OINP, requesting them to look into the matter, do you think it might expedite my application.

Send an email to OINP and ask, I am also thinking of doing the same.

Licensing process for medical professions in Canada is tough and sometimes very expensive even for permanent residents.
Definitely should be something with reducing (or eliminating?) the cost. 100%.

But yeah, if I were in Canada, I'd prefer my doctors to be licensed according to the standards in Canada, not people's home countries. And I'd very much prefer to not have a doctor who isn't practising just because "licensing was too tough". Medical school is supposed to be tough, and so is whatever it takes to get licensed to practise. Like wtf why is this even considered an issue? I don't want participation trophies treating me if I had to go to a hospital.

OINP will send you back to IRCC :D

@EscoBlades any suggestions?
@krishnapahlajani93 Do the following:
  1. Raise a webform stating that you have passed All Stages/ Assessments, and have been waiting for an approval. Ask if there is anything you can provide on your end to help facilitate a final decision from an officer
  2. Email OINP explaining the situation. State that you have bene very eager to move to the province to start contributing both economically and to the community, but IRCC's delay in making a final decision on your application has prevented this so far. Ask if there is anything they can do to expedite the process
  3. If you know your primary VO from your GCMS notes, then email them (assuming you can find their email address). State that you can see that your application is just awaiting a final decision, and that the extended delay has had a negative impact on your mental health as well as other aspects of your life, etc. Really humanize yourself in their eyes.
  4. If all of the above doesn't yield any results, then you are a prime candidate for mandamus. Yes, it might cost more, but at this point, you should have had a decision made already.

Thanks, this should help :)
