Received my TEF results today, went from 455 to 523. Now I truly feel like I belong to the waiting for ITA crowd lol. If for some reason that proves to be insufficient, I'll be at 542 in June upon reaching 3 years of skilled work experience, and in August I'll be able to use a new NOC of 2175. Fingers crossed!
i was pretty sure my pal will rise, not so quick but OneStepAtATime. i feel proud of ya mate

You did better than me in TEF it looks like xD
I went from 456-521. Where you got those 3 extra points huh?
My test result breakdown is as follows:
Compréhension écrite: NCLC 12 (this part of the test was strangely easy that day, this is most certainly not my real competence in french reading comprehension!)
Compréhension orale: NCLC 10 (missed out on 11 by a couple points)
Expression écrite: NCLC 8 (missed out on 9 by several points)
Expression orale: NCLC 7 (I thought this portion of the test went terribly, examiner really rushed through things and that rather threw me off, but in the end it was good enough. Was rather surprised, was totally expecting to need to retake the TEF in december).

I only sat for the test after 15 months of study thanks to multiple cancellations of test sessions for unknown reasons, so I had quite a bit more study time than you did.

Ahhh nicely done! At least you're now age proof despite being a filthy outlander xD

For once, I actually think this is good news:
Canada plans to lift ban on flights from India next week with new COVID-19 protocols

Maybe they're actually learning what a disaster their policies have been, and this 100% looks like a positive change to me. Actually putting in place restrictions to keep out the bad people instead of punishing everyone for the nonsense of a few.

Edit: Wow, after reading the article, this is actually a well thought out plan to test out new travel protocols. It's so level headed and rational that I'm shocked it's coming from the 2020 Canada we've come to know and love lol

Hope they don't back to shutting things again.
