I also stumbled upon those random websites when I was thinking about moving to Germany

Hey buddy, hope you're enjoying Germany, Just as a question, how does the German society treat immigrants? Do you feel welcomed? I am not sure if you have heard about it or not but generally there is an assumption that Germans are somehow not that interested in immigrants, contrary to their government that promotes immigration constantly.

Then I actually went to the official German embassy's website and looked up the requirements there. What do you know, they do not ask for 5 years of work experience lol. You might wanna check the German consulate's website in your country, they'll have the correct requirements there.
bruhhh.....that's insane!

I mostly have expat friends here. Germans typically stick to themselves and the language barrier does not help. I'm sure I can integrate better in Canada than Germany of course. But the job security, work-life balance and public healthcare here is miles ahead of Canada. It's all about pros and cons really.

Things are taking a turn for the tragic. IRCC has become destroyer of lives.

Germany is my backup plan. The language barrier is the biggest problem for me. If we are still stuck in limbo by end of this year, I'll apply for the jobseeker visa. Thanks for the info!

I think they are not going to process FSWs at full capacity until they have cleared CEC and TR-PR backlogs, no matter how long it takes. Meanwhile, there will be a slow trickle of PPRs so people don't go completely crazy. Maybe they will even send another survey to let us know how much they care about us!
Amount of work left on pending files is not a lot. They just need to get medical extended and security done on most of the files. We may see more PPRs next month. Even without Full capacity we may see a lot of PPRs. That's just my hope right now.

Yeah if they decide to do it, I have no doubt they can clear the backlogs quickly. It's just that they don't care.

Even if you haven’t heard from us recently, we’re still processing your application. You don’t need to do anything else. If we need more information, we’ll contact you.

Okay IRCC, noted with thanks.

It's funny how life moved on in most parts of the world where people got vaccinated, except for Canada. They create their problems as they go. That's lovely.

I suppose overseas local VOs don’t process inland CEC cases. And most outlanders’ files are stuck at these local VOs. Another sign they just don’t want to work.

That’s true. Mine has been stuck in Abu Dhabi for ages now, and i have my final as “Approved”.

I imagine all they need to do now is to press the ‘send ppr’ button on their computer for cases like yours and the backlog will become smaller.
Instead they are wasting precious time and letting people’s medical assessments go expire for the second or even the third time.
I saw on Facebook a family of 5 went for the third medical tests. That’s a huge sum of money wasted.

That’s very true .There’s no doubt that they’ve put everything on pause deliberately, without any sort of explanation or reason.
