I will give a small example. The house in which I am living currently in Ireland costed me 170k EUR. From which I needed to have 10% deposit, lawyer fees etc. I was not able to get more because I was a single applicant. With my gf we got a new car here. This car on the paper cost 40 000EUR, same car, same make and a lot better spec in Canada is 36 000$. Lease for that car in Ireland is 510EUR a month and in Canada same car is 390$ However my house is located outside the bigger cities. Taxes are high as shit. If you earn above 35 000EUR you are paying 40% on everything above. Anything below is 23% ;) Road tax is crazy expensive is well. Energy prices went up and my last bill for 16kwh was 300EUR :O for two months.
Oh so you are irish? I gotta ask you something off topic, what da fuq has happened to conor???

This is what I am talking about :) People should not get surprised when we say that but the current situation in UK or Ireland is a joke :)
ah come on! not everyone but some folks from the uk/eu/ireland finds Canada cheaper but not everyone. Those folks from other countries are gonna be our canadamates someday so i join them in everything. They find housing in Canada expensive and so I consider it expensive, but somehow should evade taxes and loot in possible way as a protest against the JT and MPOS that caused this situation. I will be with all the pool folks who are going through this.

Yeah noticed that too lol, the current situation has zero impact on people from India, they just need to continue with life as they did before applying but they choose to cry. Just find another job if you already quit.

By that logic no one on this forum who is either waiting for PPR or ITA should complain, since if you have time to post here, your life is probably not in danger. Also you should not complain if the processing takes 5 or 10 more years, just continue living life in your country lol.

What I said was in the context of the pandemic only otherwise I would be the first in line bitching and moaning about all these stupid delays.

I think most people that will live in EU for a longer time will actually see how expensive it is :)

An outlander from Quebec program received ppr, and it's his/her first ppr. Although it's not the express entry applicant, I heard they have also stopped issuing ppr and copr. Also a couple of weeks ago Quebec invited applicants of Arrima program based on the noc codes, for the first time this year. I guess these two news together can be really good.

My ex-gf is in Ireland at the moment. She got one small-sized apartment for €850 in Limerick and I was left dumbfounded.
This is considered to be really cheap here. In Galway you will be lucky if you will find anything below 1200EUR for a 2 bed :O a small little sh****** with mold left and right in every room
