I understand and partly agree with the concerns about cons winning and how it might affect immigration but I still don't want JT to win. I want him to stay at about the same number of seats, still a minority, which would probably be enough to contain his ambition. That, so he can't at least touch the immigration law. I don't trust the liberal party with my immigration chances after how Marco Mendicino said FSW was discriminatory.
Yes probably it’s the best scenario for us, and fortunately the most likely to happen.

how long will it take to learn french and give my exams ? which french test to take?
anyone from india / bangalore who can recommend me for classes?
It depends on you. For me, it took 6months of learning from the scratch and one month of exam préparation. All together, it was 7months. My learning was highly intensive as i had all the time to do it. Beyond learning the grammar and vocabulary, i networked extensively online and surrounded myself with francophones. That really helped.
Secondly, i was highly motivated. I saw it as the only means to get permanent residency of an advanced country. I was 37 at the time and gave it my all. I fell in love with french even beyond TEF Canada. At some point, it wasn't even about the exams anymore.
So it all depends on your motivation and the time available to you.

Saw this in a Whatsapp group full of FSW-O. An outland applicant called the IRCC agent and received this news about Sep 7.

From what I saw in 2019 election debates. All parties except pos PPC are in favor of immigration. From conservatives vs liberal perspective, they seem to have an overall different approach to immigration/education/labor. It feels like conservatives prefer to import “high skilled” labor while pushing citizens more towards trade education, since its cheaper and would cost government less in tuition. Liberals on the other hand seem to prefer importing on demand “lower skilled” NOC jobs while offering citizens scholarships for higher skilled education like their program to invest in teaching citizens how to code.

I never trust Whatsapp because well it's Whatsapp, but let's say this is true. I think it's unlikely because we know they're working on applications just not releasing the PPRs. So if that's what this means then yes, it could be true that they're really waiting till 7th to release PPRs.

I still think that the 7th deadline is more of a ceremonial deadline for them and once they knew the 7th the borders reopened they started working again on the applications. It's possible they wait till 7th to actually release the PPRS though.

I don’t get how NDP keeps gaining momentum, from their platform, they seem more vague than liberals. It just seems like they are a party of former frustrated liberals.

Many applications are approved. IRCC desperately wants to meet targets. So what’s stopping them from releasing PPRs? Only one logical answer. Closed borders. Only time will tell

The person who posted this is real. Not sure why they would lie about it. But, I am not gonna blindly trust IRCC words until I see my COPR.

Guys I just received EOI from Alberta. Maybe seems stupid but I don't want to accept it :) I'm currently in the pool with 478 and it'll stay at this point till February. I really believe I can receive an ITA till then. What do you suggest?
