I am FSW-O COR India. I received this. I just completed this.
I think all this outcry on social media may be made them send this out to assess the situation.
I answered what I really felt about their process. Didn't hold back on anything.
There was a lot of question relating to how quickly I would move to Canada after approval under various circumstances.

People need to raise their voice on the internet so everybody can see IRCC's inhumane practices in the past "two years". That's a long time torturing people. It doesn't fit Canada's image at all.

Man I applied and they gave me my PPR in 2 months like what the hell? How am I supposed to move too soon like that? I think I'm gonna cancel my app.

I can clearly see that they want people to take the study route and spend thousands of dollars getting degree and diplomas that would not even mean anything in front of the already completed masters or professional degree from outside of canada!
Fsw is dead,they should just replace it with cec all together because they need more people living on welfare in the years to come!
Good luck to all the cec applicants not that you guys need it!

I don't think this is true. Canadian study permits always had very high demand but they don't have enough institutions to admit a large number of international students. Just check students section of this forum, so many refusals even before the pandemic.

I don't think this is true. Canadian study permits always had very high demand but they don't have enough institutions to admit a large number of international students. Just check students section of this forum, so many refusals even before the pandemic.

But at least tons of movement in the application status there and look at us begging for a draw since the start of this year

IRCC: "According to our recent survey, many people would cancel their apps if we gave them PPRs too soon. So we are now happy to announce that we guarantee no app will get PPR earlier than 2 years."

The minister: "We always hear people and listen to how they feel. We work actively with federal and provincial bodies to adjust the system to people's needs. I am very happy to announce that we finally solved the problem of desperate citizens of third world countries having to move too soon to Canada, a first world and a G7 country."
