If the backlog is 2.7 million right now, I won't be surprised if it increased to 5 million in the coming months due to this decision by the Supreme Court. They will likely approve faster the applications that they deem trustworthy/verifiable and probably let others rot without a decision.
Does that applies to PR applications as well? So they can basically hold off PR applications at whim if they don't "feel" they're genuine?
