I get it. But data analytics alone is a very common job now. So I thought knowing these skills will go a long way.
Absolutely, you are right. It's just that Data Science, for someone with no IT/CS background is not easy and trying to learn that in 6 months at a garage college might be a herculean task...

True. They need at least a good math skill. I think some will pick up programming easily but math skill cannot be picked up. It needs to be there "inside" you. Don't love numbers, don't bother Data Science..!!

It feels so good that now this thread has more post PPR query and Information.
This actually means backlogs are gettting cleared.
This makes me so sad to read. Still waiting. 5 months in adr, ip2. It seems as if only Indian and Nigerian citizens are getting ppr in 2022. All other international visa offices are still in covid mode and won't even update applicants nor respond emails or webforms.
Canada gone be so diverse...good job ircc

I actually read the tax treaty between two countries carefully. You are considered a tax resident of the country in which:

1. You are employed from
2. You currently residing i.e. have a lease on your name

Those are the two primary factors of paying taxes in Canada. I also studied various other threads with my circumstances.

https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...worldwide-income-is-taxable-in-canada.583955/

https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...dency-status-on-taxation-soft-landing.664091/

https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...oard/threads/taxes-after-soft-landing.741228/

In other words, unless you start your employment and residence in Canda, you do not owe taxes.

There is no way around the three years of residence in Canada. You have keep your plane tickets and proof of residence with you when you apply for citizenship.

My only goal is to minimize the pain given a new immigrant. The system punishes a new immigrant for not being part of the system. I wish to become part of the system with minimum pain. I'll do the formalities, and become part of the system. Come back when I have employment and means to seek a livable residence. That's how it should be for any immigrant.

Can someone suggest careers in healthcare with good pay and prospects that anyone (with a science background - I hold a DVM) can switch to after landing in Canada? Are there other opportunities apart from nursing?

From reviews, I see that IT, Engineering, and healthcare are some of the best employment opportunities (and skill trades).

Also, for IT, are there other excellent options besides coding/software dev, for someone looking to switch careers? I have learned HTML and CSS, but can't seem to get the hang of JS, so I'm looking to keep my options broad.

Thank you.
Whats your strength?? Don't go after trend. Go after your strengths.

So once i feel confident about what i have learned, can i make my own project and post it, to show off my skills? Right?

I don't know how it works in the world of Data Analytics/Science, but for software developers, when you build something, you mention the link of the website of the project that you created so that the interviewer can check it out if s/t/he/y want to.

If I were you, I would ask this question of reddit like /r/cscareerquestions.

I am not really qualified to answer questions about data analytics/science.

Hello friends
Which original documents should be scanned with the official translations? Because if I include the originals they will take a large space.

Whatever that's not in English. Compress the docs.
