Is this language about a medical exam backlog new?

I've seen that before. It's newish (maybe last week?). I think its actually a good sign lol. They are probably issuing so many remedicals for old applications now and they have a backlog for that. It also could mean "don't bug me. You got your ADR after 2 years so shut up and wait months more". Who knows with this maple leaf country

IRCC extended an ITA because the applicant filled up the form and said that they have 3 years of work experience. I don't see anything wrong with that? I believe it's the applicant's responsibility to make sure everything in the form and whatever they are submitting is accurate and true. (The applicant is even reminded that when they finalize their EE profile submission).

That's very anecdotal evidence.

If an applicant slipped through the cracks on this requirement, then they got lucky. If the applicant was called out then they can't contest anything because they, in fact, did not have 3 years of work experience imo.

This is a very common issue, not a once off incident.
IRCC themselves have confirmed (on several tweets) that they do send ITA to applicant one month before their work experience eligibility is reached (i.e. 11th month instead of complete 12 months). They advice that applicant can either hold on to the ITA till the 12th month, or they can decline and wait if they want.

Really bad luck. I remember one of the members here got an ITA in the last FSW draw in Dec 2020, he rejected it because he had some inconsequential mistake on his EE profile, hoping to correct it before the next draw. I hope he is okay now.

Positive me says he went fck it and went for Australia/USA/Europe if he's qualified. 1.5 years is a lot of time waiting for a draw (especially after a prior rejection) and that's what i'd do if I was in that position tbh

Lol. I actually went through the snapshot history and that message started appearing sometime between 6th Feb 2021 and 19th Feb 2021. It's been there for over a year .

even so, CRS is evaluated at 2 points: once at ITA, and once at AOR. even if the applicant really does not have 1095 days of work experience, he could still wait til after that to submit his AOR. that is a policy that all IRCC officers follow. furthermore, I wasn’t talking about calculating number of hours worked. If you refer to the GCMS notes of any applicant, you would see that an officer would say which month and year that an applicant has worked from and to, followed by the number of months in that role based on that calculation. Then, they would add up the total months and if its 36, they would count it as 3 years.

The only difference is determining eligibility for minimum eligibility requirements, in which case, at least 1 full year is crucial. BUT even then, an applicant could still wait til after 1 year before submitting his applicant, and his application would be evaluated at AOR then.

just got request for IMM5669 and police certificate for me and my wife - we‘ve got police certificates which we’ve obtained in December 2021 are they good to go? Or I should request the new one? In this case waiting time could be long

we’ve added our baby month ago, passed the medicine week ago and it’s all passed now.

all In all, is it a good sign?

I got it a month back. Submitted it the very next day. They haven't touched my file since. Others who did around the same time have gotten PPR. So, totally based on chance.

What i have seen from the past trend is that those who had accra as their VO had PPR within a week of ADR submission..
But its not the case with all the VOs.
My VO is RROC, even i have submitted my ADR's on 27th march.
Lets hope for the best.

Yes, lots of ADRs and I guess about half of them get PPR soon afterwards.

Hi guys..have been a silent observer of this forum for a few months and it's been very helpful.. "finally" received the PPR.Here's my timeline if it helps anyone:
Aor: sept 9th 2019
First PPR: Jan 10th 2020
Remedicals: November 2021
Second PPR: March 31st
FSW O
VO: cpc ottawa
