Big news in my immigration world happened Friday night, ~8:40ish EST time. (IRCC either working late or sending out delayed emails). I received an ADR for a Schedule A. I haven't heard news from IRCC in well over a year, so I was and am all-too-excited to get this kind of update.
Taking a few tips from some other posters here, I have recently done the following:
* about 2 or 2.5 weeks ago I sent a webform requesting "expedited processing" of my application - pointing out that I was well past normal processing times (I know we all are, but I thought it wouldn't hurt).
* only about 2 business days after that webform, I sent another one. This was was "medical" specific. The last GCMS notes I received (December 2021) indicated my medicals expires in mid-late April and they cannot be renewed (they will have been 27 months "old" as of then). So I sent a webform asking to please expedite my application OR send me a new medical request if it is needed.
A question for you all here:
I was delighted to see an ADR email from IRCC on Friday afternoon, and fully expected it to be a re-med request. But instead it was a Schedule A request. I've seen a few others on this forum share that they have received a re-med request followed by a Schedule A, but not reverse order. In my case, is this indicative that I may not need a re-med request? Could/should I be expecting PPR.... dare I say soon???
