They have already been bashed by thousands of post ITA applicants everywhere... Why would they add few more thousands to the list :)
Believe it or not but FSW will happen soon ;) it does not matter that they have many ITAs in the backlog, that will move very quick specially for CEC. FSW will resume in August or by latest in September

Backlogs don’t stop draws or invitations. Every immigrant category has backlogs

Canada needs to vaccinate as much 12-17 year olds as possible before school resumes
So you asked a question yesterday and I have this for you.

Canada got off to a strong start to the year. It welcomed 24,680 new immigrants in January but lost momentum in the months to follow. The country then welcomed 23,395 in February, 22,425 in March, and 21,155 in April, and 17,100 in May.

Altogether Canada has welcomed some 143,000 new permanent residents through the first six months of 2021 which remains well short of the pace it needs to welcome 401,000 newcomers by the end of this year.

The target is huge. I am just wondering how they want to achieve it. Even if they will start inviting tons of FSW candidates, the scores would have to go down. But there are not as many people in the pool. Even considering CEC :O

Guys, So I finally received my GCMS notes. The last it was worked on was on 13th May, 2021. And it mentions that my security and criminality have not yet started but towards the end of the report it mentions that criminality is recommend pass. I'm really relieved that my eligibility has passed at least.
What's your VO?

Thanks G. I’m sure this includes all categories; from economic class to family, Refugees and Humanitarian class. It would be difficult to get the actual number of Federal high skilled workers (FSW, CEC and FST) that have successfully immigrated to Canada this year; however, from this data it appears they are probably not close to meeting that target
