I have 5 years of work experience in Canada and my individual IELTS score are L - 8, R - 7.5, W - 7.5, S - 7 and points for sibling gave it a extra boost it needed.. I'm sort of worried about the impact of the new NOC categorization. Hoping for the best..
Very impressive writing score. The others are band 9, why not go for another IELTS, if you manage to score band 10 on three of the four, it's going to add 3 points per band 10. This way you'll get closer to 490 and be more certain of an ITA. And with it expiring soon, that's what I would do.

Thanks! I'm actually planning on redoing my IELTS but also trying to get an idea what the new NOC system is going to change for my chances. Do you have any idea about that?

You are overthinking it, my guy. There is nothing worth explaining when it comes to unemployment and unpaid gigs. Everyone had those. I didn't even put unpaid gigs in my personal history because it's irrelevant. I was unemployed/studying/working and the fact that I got paid 10$ in cash for tutoring my neighbors' kid in math doesn't need to be explained.
Yeah true, Im definitely overthinking it. But we know how much these IRCC buffoons itch to reject any non TR to PR application. I don't want to take chances since this is the one and only shot I will have.

The way I see it, you need not worry about the changes coming after 3 months, we'll all know the details then. But in the mean time, there is a pattern that we're seeing, take advantage of the current draws before they alter them, I'm certain improving your scores won't be too challenging. Cheers.

Apologies for late reply, I had forgotten to reply yesterday after work.

Yes, since the degree was awarded by the Singapore university and only the Singapore university, I believe just a single entry with Singapore as the Country of study will do.

And yes, for the eAPR (post-ITA) include your certificate and transcript alongside your educational credential assessment report in the upload slot for education documents. You can add your language test reports to this file as well.

And yup, be sure to include the stint abroad in your address history and your personal history, and make sure that the start and end dates are in sync. If you feel the need to add a short explanation to clarify the situation further, you can do so in the Client Information document. The upload slot for that is located at the bottom of the documents upload page, but it does not always appear so you may need to re-login until you see it. Once it appears for you, you can make it stick around by uploading a blank placeholder document.
Hi @OneStepAtATime , thanks for your very detailed reply.

I agree that I should only include Singapore for preITA and put the transcript and certificate in the post ITA education document.

Thanks for the reminder about the personal history and address history and also for the trick to make the LOE section stick around! Actually, how important is it to have the exact date for both personal and address history? Can I give rough estimates? I may not exactly remember the date of the exchange.

I have good feeling about this. FSW having less than 12k in queue is wonderful news for us.
Dropped for the first time in 14 months. Hope the trend continues.

Good evening, everyone. My friend just checked his profile and saw that there was a new update under the optional document section with the document name of Client information and a required submission deadline for his PR application but he was not provided with any link to upload anything. Has anyone experienced this? Please could you provide any advice
note : he was not sent any email that there have been changes to his application. He was just curious and checked his profile today.
Thank you.
It has happened to my profile as well. It looks like some web changes from their end.

Thanks for responding, @aneesh21. I will let him know. @RSub directed me to a thread that discussed this situation as well. Hopefully, this glitch will be resolved soon. It has been silent for him since May 2022. He was happy for the slight movement, at least.
